Engine/Train/ Locomotive?

Hi Everyone, firstly I have to apologise for being AWOL with my comments, I have had a few things going on, and it has made it less time for me on the 'puter. I hope to be seeing you all soon. I am keeping up with my DT work at least, and making family cards, this is one of them made recently.

Our Great Nephew is an ardent Railway fan and Volunteers for the Gwili Railway. His 20th birthday came up, and of course it had to be a card with a train on. I had forgotten I had a cut file, so off I went and cut the engine out of vinyl, added it to the card, I think you can just about make out the shine of the vinyl. I stencilled clouds and blended green onto the card. Furthermore, I'm happy to say he was pleased with it.

image - Locomotive, Silhouette Design Store design #296656
inks - Distress Oxide mowed lawn, tumbled glass
stencil - Funky Fossil

See you soon, fingers crossed.

What a great card, Faith! I've never seen vinyl on a card before and I love it. I can see the shine and it's so beautifully black! The ticket is the perfect addition! :o)

First of all..... I LOVE that you cut the engine out of vinyl! What a great idea! Loved your card.

Second..... thank you for the comments you leave on my blog. You have no idea how much they encourage me.

Lastly.... I can't believe you've never heard the term, "Happy as a clam." Maybe it's a southern thing. I hear it quite often, and say it occasionally.

Have a great day! Hugs!!

Love, love, love this train. My hubby's family all went to Purdue and they have a train theme at the school. This is just fantastic.
