CAS mid month WLSC

Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for We Love Stamping
the theme this month being "Anything stamped/CAS "

Please share our challenge logo

I had a lovely blog friend send me a voucher for some stamps, which I was surprised at, and thrilled, but to my deepest shame, I had not used them until now. I really am grateful and thank you, you know who you are.

I saw a sketch that I liked and used it, but now can't find who designed it!  Anyhow, I die cut a rectangle and a circle, I then stamped the flower and sentiment onto the circle and coloured the flower. I dragged the same colour over the rectangle. I then attached the rectangle to the card and 3D'd the circle over it. It needed more, I felt. I know you shouldn't for CAS, but I needed to, so I stamped a butterfly and coloured it in the same colours as the flower, then fussy cut it. 3D glaze was added to the body before adding it to the circle. In the end, I was pleased.
stamps - Polkadoodle
ink - Distress inks worn lipstick, squeezed lemonade.

Weighing Bear QKR

Hi Everyone, it's so good to be back with my DT card there is a new owner and there has been a delay as she gets things her way. The links are to the site, not each image, as things are not 100% there yet.

We will select two winners each of the weeks
1 using QKR Stampede  or Eureka Stamps image
 and 1 using any image!

Anything Goes every 1st & 15th of the month

I've used this bear and bunny before and decided to use them again with a different sentiment, I made up. It had to be funny, I hope!

I added the images to Silhouette, printing and cutting 4 layers of the bear and rabbit. I coloured them with DI's, using a marker to make the check on the bears' jacket. The scales inked with gold. Before adding the images to the card. I shaded a border around a mask of the image, onto the main card. I removed the mask image, then added the coloured images. Again, very simple, but I don't think it needed much else.

inks - DI's spun sugar, worn lipstick, twisted citron, squeezed lemon,
 rusty hinge, antique linen.
marker - Spectrum Noir, CT4
gold ink - Kuretake

Hi Everyone, I won't be around for about a month. I am taking time out due to my son's ill health. My apologies to everyone that I won't be able to comment on your lovely blogs.

My DT cards have been scheduled. I will get back here as soon as is possible.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying whatever you do.

I saw this in a digi kit by DigiDewi I have and felt it said what I need.

Just as well, we live not far from the sea! See you soon!

Strawberries

Hi Everyone, my card today is my idea of summer, strawberries and cream? The image is one I've had a long time, so I decided it was time to use her. I saw a sketch and decided to use it to show her off. I took the image into Silhouette to print and cut 3 images, one with a frame around her. She was then coloured using DI's. I added 3D glaze to her eyes and shoes.

I have had the digi paper a long time too, I printed it out and cut it to fit the card and design. The shape and the frame layer were added to red pearlised card. The sketch needed another shape, I found this basket of strawberries also in my files which I thought fitted in.

Shaker card TMR

Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for

I haven't done a shaker card in I don't know when, I had a few ideas, but none came to fruition. Then going through some file images I found this one, that I had used in 2013! Looks like he stood the test of time! I decided a little more CAS for this. I die cut a frame, then die cut a sentiment, I cut 6 layers of the circle frame adding the acetate between the top circle and the next. Then added the sentiment die cut over them all. The sequins were placed in the circle and a white complete circle was added to keep them in place.

I took the image into Silhouette and cut 3 layers out of textured card, all glued together, with added 3D glaze for his eyes and the dots on his hat. They were all then attached to the main card. I have a few men boys in the family who this would be suitable for.

oblong die - Card Making Magic
sentiment die - lost packaging, I've had it many years. Could be Tonic?
sequins - stash
holographic card - B&M

CAS Blue flowers WLSC

Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for We Love Stamping
the theme this month being "Anything stamped/CAS "

Please share our challenge logo

I had die cut the stamped flowers and had them hanging around a while, as I thought what I could do with them. I had had them a long time and not used them. Anyhow, I saw a die that someone had made their card from, and she kindly sent me the link. I thought it was a perfect foil, for the flowers.

I cut a strip of card and die cut it, adding it to the side of the card. Then, after colouring and adding gold glitter pen to the centre of the flowers, I shaped them and adding them to the frame, as if they were climbing. At least, I hope that's what it looks like!

The sentiment was stamped and die cut, then added to the card with 3D pads.

Vulture ready? CCC

Hi Everyone, 2 DT cards today this is for -

Critter Crazy

Whether Furry, Feathered, Fantasy, Fairytale,
Scaly, or Insect, there must be a critter...

I was randomly looking through my files, as I do once in a while, unless searching for something, when I came across this Vulture in my cutting files, great I thought for my DT card today. I hadn't used it, although I've had it since 2015, but don't know where from! Anyhow, I took him into my Silhouette, and die cut him, as I show on the mat layout and cut shapes below.

I went looking for some paper and found this mini digital kit "Playful" by Gina Cabrera DigitalDesignEssentials. An old kit from 2013. I also went looking for a sketch for an idea on layout and found one that I liked from MFT.

I bordered the colourful paper onto black card, arranged the pieces and attached them to the main card. The sentiment was computer generated and print and cut out, then also bordered with black card. The Vulture, after placing the pieces together, was 3D'd onto the card. Nuvo Crystal Glaze was added to his beak and toenails, not that you can see it, but it looks good in real life. I also added some white pen to add highlighted areas, not sure that it worked? I thought it is a fun card for someone getting on, as a lot of my family are. Even my baby Nieces are over 50! Where has time gone? The Vultures are awaiting!

these are the pieces of card I used, I am able to "die" cut them on the same mat.

these are the pieces after cutting.

I can so easily be persuaded to join the Snippets Playground Challenge, but I am happy to, anyway.

Set Sail QKR

Hi Everyone, one of my 2 DT cards today is for

We will select two winners each of the weeks
1 using QKR Stampede  or Eureka Stamps image
 and 1 using any image!

Anything Goes every 1st & 15th of the month

I used a stencil for the clouds on the background, then shaded the sky. This is a beautiful ship, that I just had to use. I added it to Silhouette, printing it and cutting it out 4 times, colouring one layer with Di's to match the background. The layers were then glued together. The sentiment was printed at the same time, after I measured the banner die and sizing the text to fit.
