Lil Pumpkin

Hi Everyone, my card today was for my new GGNiece, another generation is born into our family and of course, she is the most beautiful baby ever! LOL. Dorothy-Louise was 7lb 8oz and was born after a traumatic labour for her Mum, thankfully both are well now. I love her old fashioned name. Dorothy means Gift of God.
2 days old
As she is born during the pumpkin season, I decided to use this fabulous digi kit card, so all I had to do was lay it out in PS and print, I also sent it to the Cameo for it to cut the layers. I felt it very appropriate for this little one, as her parents like unconventional colours.

Her Horse

Hi Everyone, I have done a digital scrapbook page for the Digitally Made challenge, which is asking for pets or animals. We unfortunately don't have any pets now, but I do have a niece who is head over heels in love with her Spanish horse. This was a photo I got recently and I decided to use it to enter the challenge.

I used texture and masks in Photoshop to get the end result

Mobile phone card

Hi Everyone, another birthday card for you. I saw the Outlawz sketch challenge, I liked the sketch and as I had a birthday card for my Great Nephew to do, decided to use it.

I saw a mobile phone image given free on the web, sorry I didn't take note of the blog, but she had used it as a cut file for the Cameo, so I made it into a file for myself and I'm quite pleased how it turned out. I made 3 layers and added acetate under the black top layer.  I also used an image to cut the clock hands out on the Cameo, they were SO tiny and they cut beautifully, I used 3 layers to make them a little sturdy.

Hi Everyone, my card today was made after seeing the sentiment from the "Winter is Here" set  HERE by Create with TLC. I knew exactly what I wanted to do and this is the result! it looks a bit pinky, but it isn't, the day was dark to take good photos.

Gardener

Hi Everyone, it was our next door neighbour's birthday so I made him a card. The image is one I had already coloured for this card, so thought I would make life easy! and reuse the details.  I do love this image by Dr Digi. the sentiment on the front and inside are by Create with TLC, I used a gradient effect in PS for them. Papers by Marisa Lerin at Pixelscrapper the flower and bee are by Hodge Podge. I followed the sketch (but turned it) which is a choice of a few, to follow for the Scrapbook.com challenge.

This card just flew together, and I LOVE it. Oh! there's me being modest again!

I used Samarkan font to give an eastern edge, I changed the colour of the background layer to match her "trousers", sorry can't think of the proper name - a senior moment. I designed it in PS then printed and layered the DP onto gold mirror card, I added a spring to the image, so she can dance! Added a ribbon instead of the digi border and the sentiment was also layered onto gold mirror card. I cut the image with print and cut on my Silhouette, but I couldn't get it without a white border - more to learn.

Penguin Christmas card

Hi Everyone, would you believe it? - another Christmas card - I can't either. Blame Kathy D at Deedee's, she asked if I would make a card for the Deedee's sponsored challenge at Completely Christmas I followed the sketch we are asked to use and here it is. I love these penguins having fun. They are from the "Dashing Through" kit, so is the sentiment.
I added Stickles and snow effect to the hat and the snow, and 3D gloss to the feet, mouth, and eyes.

13th birthday card

Hi Everyone, I have a 13th birthday card for you today, I made it for my Great Niece. I got this image a long time ago from Colouring Pages, it's a fab image by Precious Moments.  I decided to go all out with colour, wouldn't you say? LOL.

I laid it all out and coloured it in PS , then printed it out and fussy cut around the image, bunting and butterfly, then cut the 13 and it's background with my Cricut. The digi paper and elements are by Dream4EverDesigns at PixelScrapper

What's in my bag? I am in Wales, I HAVE to have my umbrella with me at all times, so my image of choice is "Rainy Days" by BB Kakes at Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet.
Love this little image, she's having so much fun in the rain. She needed the bright colours behind her, like a rainbow, I thought.

Why don't you have a go at this challenge, maybe "in your bag" you have something you'd like to share?

The card printed and layered with embossed solid layer. I cut an extra layer on my Cricut for the image.

We had a choice of digi stamps from Sparkle N Sprinkle and my choice is the gorgeous Vivian, as soon as I saw her, these colours came alive for her. She is also available as a rubber stamp.
My PS layered
Printed, layered, embossed and clock cut file with added sparkle by Glamour Dust - my Hybrid card.

I did the layout in PS as usual and just made shapes to match this sketch, I then used overlays, which gave me patterned paper, a great way to copy the colours exactly ay? AND have patterned paper.

What do I mean by overlays? On the left is a folder that includes one of the overlays I used, ( the 3rd from the right) it's usually a black pattern that you place over your digi paper, "clip" it to the paper, use "overlay" blending options, it then takes on the colours of the paper in different hues! I know I blind most of you with Photoshop terms, but hope it helps the people who visit and understand what I am doing.

Forever friends

Hi Everyone a new digi at Deedee's Digis My DT post today shows just one of the images in the kit, I also added one of the sentiments too, so handy not to have to think LOL.

I created a circle cut file, adding PS shapes to copy the tiger stripes, well near enough anyhow LOL.
I added DP papers from SMD at Pixel Scrapper, black card to layer and Dreamcraft 3D pearl effect.

Christmas -
using non traditional colours

sponsored by  Lunagirl

Hi Everyone, my offering today is something that I would not normally do, however this is a challenge right? and in the end I am quite happy I had this challenge to do, as it made me think of the true meaning of Christmas and it doesn't matter what colour is traditional as long as the message gets across. So here is my offering, I used a few blending options, brushes and layers and effects in PS to get the effect near enough to what I envisaged. (I really have a lot of learning to do in PS).

Gardener card

Hi Everyone, my offering to you today is a card I was asked to make for a friend's Dad.  I was asked to make a "funny garden card and he is a Scarlets supporter" the Scarlets are the Llanelli Rugby Team.  I incorporated their logo on the T shirt. I added the Leek in the corner as it is the emblem of Wales.

The layout was a case of this card, that I thought lovely. I added a gradient to the sentiment and shaped the logo across his big tum! I have to say I love the digi kit, it is so bright and cheery. I coloured Gus in PS, I think I may be getting the jist of it now LOL. The sentiment circle, leek and Gus are 3D layered.

This is the inside, I collected the veg images and placed them into the box included in the kit the sentiment is from Create with TLC.

I used the beautiful "Winter Stream" image and sentiments by  Rosiland Solomon at Exclusive Sparkle and Sprinkle.  I wanted to do something different, not too different though - you know me LOL. So I decided to do a pink/lavender Winter scene. My influence for the colours are due to the photos of the sky the other night.

I copied the digi image and altered it to place on the tag, I coloured or slightly changed the colour of items in PS. I also added a muted sun over the mountains. The layout is my own design, hope I've done that OK, I'm not much good at that.

Just want to show you one of my previous attempts of this image, not something I usually do, but I liked this too, hope you do.

This is the printed card, shame you can't see the glittery sparkle it is lovely, although you may just see the icicles or the stream marks of the glitter. It is also on the tag. No sun here today - no sparkle :(

The colours printed are more lavendery and not as bright as on my computer screen, but I am still pleased with it.  Love the image.

Here are the photos that influenced me although a bit brighter, a gorgeous sky.
