Hi Everyone, I had to make another birthday card, and used another digital stamp. I used papers from a pad I fancied, and layered them onto plain paper that matched. I then sent the image into Silhouette and print and cut it 3 times. Already having made the birthday wishes circle awhile ago, I then added the shape of the penguin with the balloons merging them, so the circle incorporated the shape of the balloons. Something like masking!
Anyway, the penguin was coloured with marker pens, I then coloured the wishes on the shape and added the penguin image to the layer. With my mind not on things, and mojo still absent, I'm happy to say it all came together quite quickly, surprisingly, and I like the nearly monochrome look too.

It is my #3 brother's 86th birthday, so I made this card for him. I die cut the man 3 times and layered him, then looked for some paper. I found this striped paper, and embossed it with a happy birthday embossing folding, then layered onto a striped grey paper, and added to the base layer. The words, I didn't think, stood out enough so I rubbed an ink pad over them.
The die cut man was added onto a line within the ef words. The tag was printed and cut with the Silhouette and layered 3 times, I then inked the edge. I added a safety pin, also cut out with my Silhouette. Then attached to the front of the card. I hope my brother likes it.

A fun card today, based on a sketch, a change for me. I stamped the goat and the sentiment, coloured it with DI's, cut it out and inked around the edge of the goat and the card. I went looking for some paper to match, I should have chosen the paper first, but I was lucky to find some in my stash. It was cut it out, and then went looking in my Silhouette files for a border and found this one, that I cut down to fit. I cut it out of matching plainish paper, it's got little dots in it. They were all attached to the base card matching the sketch. Then I decided to add 3D gloss to the horns and eyes. A quick and quite simple card.
I hope you'll join us with your 4 legged friends. Beautiful Lavinia stamps are offered for the Winners.
Hi Everyone, a card for a nieces husband, I was stumped as to what to make, I saw a card on the web, loved the idea of the sentiment, so I cased it. I went through my files to see what I could find and found this chair. It was a digital stamp already coloured black, but I changed it to blue as I had found a paper pad that could be used for it. I printed out the chair and die cut it, I printed the sentiment and die cut that, then die cut the paper. I added blue Oxide ink to the edges of the white pieces of card, then added all of them to the base card. I kept it flat for overseas post.
I just popped in to show you my latest makes, I've not been good at blogging or making stuff, apologies. Here are a few boxes, that I saw with Pinky and made them representing my birthday cake, from me to my walker group, I bought some Mr Kipling brownie cakes and 2 of them fitted in so well. They were appreciated, as just a little fun gift. The photo shows a few of them, I actually made 10. They were made with a Craft Sensations Kids paper pad.
I then had to make a card for my God Son's son, lacking mojo big time, I went on to the web looking for male cards and saw a few candle cards. I chose a blue patterned card and went to my Silhouette and cut the rectangles, I then added dots of glue and added gold embossing powder on the gold bits in the card. Having a flame design in my files and using gold mirror card and orange card, the flames were cut too. They were 3D'd to the base card, and after they were added I drew a wick on each one. A piece of vellum was cut and I added a die cut sentiment.
I struggled with this theme, last time I used it, so went online, to get some ideas. I saw many chevron shaped cards, and as I haven't done a fold for an age, I decided to give it a go.
Going through my paper pads, I came across a double sided pattern that I thought was suitable for the male species, so I cut the shapes needed, folded them and placed them onto a 6x6 card. They didn't fit as I wanted, so I cut a piece of card to fit them, then decided to emboss it. The pieces were arranged onto the embossed card, then the sentiment was stamped onto the sentiment shape. I decided to edge the shapes with the same paper. They were then added to the base card. Something I thought would be difficult, in the end was quite easy, thanks to Pinterest.
