Twinkle Lane Designs was started in 2015 - created by Suzanne Porter BA (Hons) Graduate in Fashion Enterprise. I have always been creative, I love all types of crafts, sewing, papercraft, drawing. As an avid cardmaker I created Twinkle Lane so I could make unique characters and papers to make wonderful cards.

"Hi there! I've doodled since I can remember (on table cloths, street guides, text books, walls and finally, for my parent's relief, sketchbooks). What I love the most is to create adorable characters for both adults and children and bring them to life. That's why I became an animator and illustrator.
I decided to create a shop to free all the characters that were trapped in my sketchbooks, unfinished. So I took them, refurbished and sparkling, and share them to the world. They are ready to be adopted and willing to be part of your crafts.
All my illustratons are 100 % handmade by me, scanned from my sketchbooks and finished in Photoshop with my beloved Wacom Cintiq.

Hi Everyone, my DT post today is for

Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4 years ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

She was lucky enough to live her dream and work as an Animator for over 15 years. 10 years of which was at Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida, up until the studio closed in 2004. Since that time she and her husband settled in the midwest with their two beautifully spirited children. Krista began a new career in illustration and design. And so, DRAWN by Krista was born."

My card today is using the fabulous "Land Ho"  image, I thought it appropriate for hubby for Father's Day, (I know a little early for the UK, but at least then I won't forget) his Grandfather was Norwegian and the story goes that he got shipwrecked and was washed up on the East coast of Britain!  I don't know if it's true! but I thought I would do a play on the story and use this wonderful Viking image.
