Hi Everyone, a card for a nieces husband, I was stumped as to what to make, I saw a card on the web, loved the idea of the sentiment, so I cased it. I went through my files to see what I could find and found this chair. It was a digital stamp already coloured black, but I changed it to blue as I had found a paper pad that could be used for it. I printed out the chair and die cut it, I printed the sentiment and die cut that, then die cut the paper. I added blue Oxide ink to the edges of the white pieces of card, then added all of them to the base card. I kept it flat for overseas post.

I decided on a landscape 5 x 7 inch card.
Looking through more files, I found images that would work. I placed the images and the sentiment onto a card size base in Photoshop. Then they were printed out, cutting the background to fit the card base, and then fussy cutting 2 layers of the crocodile, one of the whole crocodile, and one cutting the mouth area. Those teeth were far easier than I thought. The layers were 3d'd, gluing the base of the crocodile to the background, so the top of the crocodile stood out more. I then added wobbly eyes after attaching it to the base card. I added a simple insert saying "Thank You".

OH! So much that I could have done, but ended up with simple embossing. First I printed out on 160gsm a vintage paper, I've had for an age. I then embossed it with an old ef and wiped a DO ink over it. It was cut to size and placed on brown card, that was also cut to size. The next thing, I found a frame in my files, that I thought was quite vintage, in shape, so I cut two out with my Silhouette then embossed the top layer, but left it without ink etc.
The quote was printed out in brown ink and placed behind the frame. A piece of the embossed paper left over, that I had embossed on the wrong side, duh! had a complete watch face on it, so I fussy 😒cut it, and wiped the ink over, then placed it at the bottom of the frame.
If you're lacking masculine card ideas, the DT have plenty, hope to see you in the challenge.

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all well. My post today is a card for my Nieces Granddaughter. She was 6 last week. The card was another that wasn't received, so I thought. Then I had a photo of Dorothy and her card, which was a lovely thing to do by her Mum. I don't know what is happening with the post, it was always so reliable to get there in just a day or two.
Anyhow, I used a digital image and decided to add a floral dress for her to wear, the image and the dress reminded me of so much of little Dorothy. As I was in Photoshop to add the dress paper, I decided to colour her and add a background. I made the background with a designer paper and added the text and 6, with a digital garden stamp, which I also coloured digitally. I haven't done PS colouring for so long, it was a nice change.
Next, I took her into Silhouette and print and cut 3 images and layered them together. I also cut the 6. I added the background to a matching shade of card, then the image and number were added. The insert was based on the front, adding the same images, the verse I found at Craftsuprint.

Looking through my stamps for an animal, I came across this Flamingo, that hasn't seen any ink and I thought it about time it did. I printed the sentiment that I had seen online onto card, then stamped and embossed in gold onto the same card. To make it more interesting, I decided to add embossing lines each side of the flamingo and use a marker in pink. What a mess I made. To save the sentiment and flamingo, I cut the card each side of the flamingo, then edged it with the same ink, and used it with the flamingo backing paper, I found in my files.
The flower stamps were included in the stamp set, so I stamped and embossed in gold onto pink card. A completely different card to what I intended, but it turned out OK.
I made the insert in Photoshop, adding a flamingo, again in my files and a sentiment that I thought of, because of all the pink!
Hi Everyone, my card today was for our Great Nephew, who want so be a Palaeontologist. He has decided on this profession, since a very small child and is still as keen today. I made this card for his 15th birthday, as it says on the card!
I decided to add a piece of double sided card, with lots of foliage on it, into which I cut bone shapes. After cutting and adding it to the card, I turned the cut bone shapes over and placed them back into the piece of foliage card. I decided it wasn't enough foliage, so stamped lots more on the plain side of the main card. Hubby passed by and said the bones looked like flowers? Nooooooo! All I could do was go around the bones with a fine liner black pen, sigh! Retrieved.
I decided on a shape for the sentiment and print and cut it on the Silhouette die cutting machine, adding stamped leaves and a raffia cord, then added 3D glaze over the 15. I had the Dinosaur image in my files and also print and cut him out, on the Silhouette, and 3D'd him onto the foliage card, with the sentiment shape.
The insert was designed in Photoshop, with a joke I saw on the web and the dinosaur. I don't know if he liked it. He's one of those children who has never said thank you or made a comment about his cards or presents. His brother enthuses over his cards and shows everyone, such different boys. Never mind, he's had it, that's all that counts.
Hi Everyone, I have 3 DT cards today, I hope you will be able to visit each of them, this is for -
Hi Everyone, this is my DT card today for
I have this wonderful Elephant in my files that I think should be used again. I also used him here.
I added the paper, the sentiment to a piece of matching colour paper and the 2 layers of elephant to the Silhouette. They were printed and cut. I then coloured the elephant with distress inks. Layered the 2 pieces together and added 3D pads. The papers were layered onto dark green card. After attaching the first layer, I decided I needed something else, and found a die I haven't used in a long time, I cut it out of the same green card as the surrounding layers. The Elephant was attached, then I decided to add a little colour to the ivy and used the watercolour pencils, without water. He is such a majestic animal. I love him.
I hope to see you in this great Challenge.

After my computer nightmare, I have been going through a few files and found this adorable bunny, just perfect for Easter. I also found some digital Easter papers. I coloured the image in Distress inks matching the paper, then cut it with a die, layered the paper and the image which I also 3D'd. I fussy cut the egg border and 3D'd it onto the paper layers. The corner flower shape are from a die cut left overs. The sentiment is computer generated. I also added sparkle pen to the eggs and 3D glaze to his eyes.
