Something different!

Hi Everyone, are you still enjoying the heat? I think it will help us go into cooler temperatures and Autumn easier, we’ll be glad of cooler temperatures? I've decided to stay in a cooler zone, my North facing craft room.

Anyhow, a win prompted my card today, Leslie at Love to Scrap, offered some digital images by My Scrapchick and I was lucky enough to win them. It's only now I have been able to use one. I love the colours and the quirky images. I decided to fussy cut, ugh!, I was so brave, the large flower, the yellow leaf and 2 of the small "lemon" flower with their stems and leaves. Then decided to stamp some quirky stamps I have in random areas.  Next, I added a sentiment to the lemon flower. The flowers, and leaves were layered with 3D pads.

I don't think I have added stamps, apart from sentiments, to digital backgrounds before, but thought the stamps suited it. They were all layered onto black card and attached to the base card.

Loving the quirky retro feel to this one Faith and all the vibrant colours. Not much crafting here, mine is south facing and a conservatory attached as well, hubby drained all the coolers and stored away only the week before.

Gorgeous, very 'funky' and retro, I love it Faith. I do share your feelings on fussy cutting...WHY!!!! haha its the worse, some people actually love doing it, not me thanks very much it should be outlawed hahaha.
I like the warmer weather and heaven knows we deserve it, but also look forward to autumn, such beautiful colours..xxx

Fabulous card Faith-congrats on your win and I love all the quirky stamps against the background-brilliant. The heat is ridicuous here-just not used to it.We were sat in the garden last night trying to cool off and it started raining-one flash of lightening and three claps of thunder some half hearted rain and it was gone and we were still sat there lol

What a lovely bright and cheery card, love the quirkiness of those flowers. I am glad your craft room is on the cool side of the house. Unfortunately mine is on the sunny side. It is still hot even with the blinds closed xx

Well, what a contrast to your previous two cards but your talent knows no boundaries. This card has so much vivaciousness and is full of dimension.

Looks amazing Faith, love the vibrant colours, an amazing design. Very hot here in Thassos but at least we have air con which we wouldn’t have the benefit of at home 😎 xx

Fab card, Faith! Love the quirky images with wonderful color! The cooler weather is here. It’s a little bit of a shock since it was so hot last week, but it is a welcome change from the high humidity! Have a great week, hugs!

Oh wow, you've done an amazing job with this Faith. So colourful and bright! Still warm here, especially at night but over cast today.

Well, look at you, Faithie! Looks like you are very comfortable out of your zone. It's a lovely whimsical card. I always dread fussy cutting but once I start it's always nice unless my fingers cramp up, lol! Hope the Atlantic storms cease soon, that's what is pushing the high over you and making it hot, according to our American weather people. XOX

You should do this technique more often it's outstanding I can't tell the difference between the digi and the stamping and the colours work beautifully. I could see this hanging in an art gallery somewhere.
