Maths!

Hi Everyone, well what a time I've had the last couple of weeks, with one thing and another I haven't had time to myself. Meaning not much time on my 'puter. Still short of time, I thought I had better post something of what I've been doing, although another quick card. It was my SiL's Grandsons birthday, and with everything going on, I had forgotten it, another one!

Anyhow, I knew I had this file, It has saved my life a few times. So used it again with a quote I saw on the web. I print and cut the sentiment with a layer of the background card, that I thought represented the + sign, and cut the numbers. It was just layer the pieces together and do a quick insert, using a stamp and a piece of the card. Simple, then into the envelope and delivered to his Grandmother, for his visit to her the next day. Whew. Another panic over.

the insert, using the same card and the stamp.

Due to our BiL's funeral, it will be family time and visits over the next few days so, I won't be visiting, and I don't know if I can catch up either.  Hope you are all OK and not so rushed as I have been over the last few weeks. Take care.

Hi Faith, I love this wonderful card, the design is fabulous, I think he will love it.
Sorry about your 'times' at the moment, I hate it when that happens and we don't seem to get a moment to call our own, but thats family isn't it. I hope your sil is coping, it must have been an awful shock for her in a new home too.
Don't worry about comments, you can catch up sometime, family first. xx

What a clever and fun birthday card you've created in the midst of a chaotic time. This is just genius and I love the inside sentiment too! Just take time for yourself and breathe - things always work out the way they should.

Sorry to hear that life has been challenging for you recently. Sometimes it is just impossible to fit everything in so it is no surprise that the blog gets a backseat. We will all still be hear, so don't worry. What a great idea for a quick and effective card. Love it xx

Wow, you should work last-minute more often! OK, just kidding, stress is a killer. BUT, this is genius, love this card! Putting in my dibs to steal, er um, borrow from it.

On a personal note, so sorry your personal life has been stressful and somber. Take solace in your family and be a salve for them. We'll be here when you return. Prayers of comfort for you all! XOX

So sorry for your loss -- and sorry I have not visited in a long time. I wanted to enter tons of cards at Beccy's but life has it's up and downs and I am trying my best to get all I can done for Christmas -- along with the appointments on the calendar. but really all is good even though I have had funerals this year, as well as other unexpected happenings - just is life you know. Let me wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2024-- as I cannot say when I will be stopping by again--- Blessings to you and your family and all that cross your path. Sending hugs from USA. Oh - and good idea on your card as well - I am thinking I have a number die for an A2 card - but what do I remember about that??? LOL - blessings again

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, I hope the funeral went as best as a funeral can go.

This card is so lovely and even nicer as you say it was a quick make, it doesn't look a quick make to me.

Hugs

I LOVE this card! What a simple but effective design. I'm so sorry your life has been rushed and hectic, and very sorry for the loss of your brother-in-law. Hopefully things will soon get back to some semblance of normal.

It might have been created quickly, but it is wonderful and perfect for a young boy, Faith!
