Baby Boy

Hi Everyone, a quick one today, as I'm expecting my eldest brother for lunch. Hope you are warmer than us today, it's 15C /59f and raining.

I was told by my neighbour that she had a new Great Grandson, so I had to make a card for them, I needed it quickly as she was going to see them the next day.

I have had all the ready coloured elements of the card from 2005 / 2007, Yep! I'm using old stuff. They were placed in Silhouette and print and cut. The frame was 3d'd onto the base gingham layer and the baby was layered and 3D'd onto the gingham layer also. Then all placed onto the blank card base, I added blue ribbon onto the label, next I added 3D glaze to the baby eyes and safety pin and the boy on the label.  The congratulations was die cut out of blue pearlised card 3 times and placed onto the bottom right corner. I designed an insert shown below in Photoshop.
baby - Hobbytool
gingham paper - unknown
border - Audrey Roberts
label and images on it - Eline's At the waterside

the verse reflects their beliefs, I got it from the web.

Much the same weather here Faith, they forecast no rain and of course it is, last night went down to 9deg. Just hope it stays dry in London for The Hundred final, mind you it's going to be a challenge what to watch as overlaps with fottie.

A perfect new baby card. Enjoy your lunch.

Sweet verse for the inside and a totally precious card! I LOVE this as it's just so sweet and pretty - and cute - and all the rest of it too. They're going to love it and cherish it forever and ever.
We're still hot around here but hopefully some cooler weather is on the way.

It's been quite hot here in the US, but fall is just around the corner and I expect the colder weather will be just as extreme as the hot weather has been. How clever of you to pre-cut those elements and have them waiting just to put a last minute card together! This is so sweet with the baby and tag and pretty blue colors! I hope you and your brother had a nice lunch as well.

Here yesterday 34 C, but today is raining a bit and a big thunder seems is coming for this night/tomorrow. They say that temperatures will fall down to 18C tomorrow. We will see if it's so.
Your card is delightful, such cute baby and a so sweet design! Love the inside too!

Your card is so very sweet, Faith. I love how you finished the interior. The new parents will love it! Wouldn't mind cooler weather in my corner of the world. Sadly it is fairly warm and we have poor air quality because of wild fires burning just over the border in British Colombia, Canada.

Adorable card Faith and a beautiful verse inside.

It's been a nice day here today, just a light shower this evening. Fingers crossed for a sunny day tomorrow for us all. xx

What a beautiful new baby card Faith, and the inside is as wonderful as the outside. I just adore the background paper and the reverse scallops, and the oh so sweet baby image, and the little label with the sentiment and little flowers echoed from the background, and the little sailing boat, and then finished with that lovely complementary blue die cut sentiment..perfect! x

Brrr, you guys are chilly Faith! We are still in the 80's and 90's. So many are looking forward to your temps. LOL Me, I like it to be above 70. This card is adorable! I love the dimension and attention to all the little details! That baby is so darn cute too! You can never go wrong with gingham o a baby card either. I especially love the inside sentiment. I bet your neighbor loved it too! Hope your luncheon with your brother was a good one!!! Hugs, Brenda

This is beautiful Faith, can hardly believe you got it together so quickly. Love the insert as well, beautiful verse.
Our weather has been awful too, get the odd spot of sunshine some afternoons, but honestly, I had to put the heating on two nights ago, just shocking summer. xx

It has been hot here in Missouri, USA. Today was beautiful and only 86 degrees but will be back in the high 90's next week.
