Hi Everyone my post today is a candy cane gift, I give out to assistants, who serve me and anyone else I think deserves a little gift, when I am out.
I cased a candy cane holder from here, mine are not as beautiful, but, so quick and easy and appreciated already, by a few recipients. I took the measurements into Silhouette, but they can be just be cut and scored on a board. The next batch will be much better, as I now know my failings on these. The canes were peppermint, something different, hence the colour in them. The tags were print and cut, as were the holders in Silhouette.
Here is a tag I made for presents, again so easy, so many more to make though, the free pattern is from Dreaming Tree.
Hope it's not too cold where you are, and you are keeping up or finished with all your Christmas projects etc. Thankfully mine are all done, now sit back and relax? Maybe!

What a lovely and thoughtful idea Faith.
Lovely photos as well, pleased to see you have a few Sam Squibbles (youngest Granddaughter) and a Woody as well, I'm not sure what they hunt for but our little family spend ages in the orchard digging their beaks into the ground.

Fabulous idea with the candy cane gift bags Faith, very clever and so cute. Lovely garden pics too, especially the squirrel eating mushrooms! I see squirrels daily in our garden and adore them!

This is so lovely of you Faith and what pretty little gifts too.
I love the pictures you shared with us, your garden is beautiful, my lawn is as good as washed away with the amount of rain we have had, just awful. I do however have a lovely, chubby little squirrel that roams around finding whatever he can, I do find them cute.
Have a lovely weekend. xx
A very thoughtful idea, love these and your Nature pics-really cold and wet here.

Such a sweet gift, Faith with a wonderful card.
It is a heartwarming to give.
Your pictures are all wonderful.
Clever favors, well done you! We've only had one morning frost, so light you missed it if you blinked. It's been too cold for comfort though, but then warms up in between fronts. After this summer's drought, I think we are in the black now as it has been one of the wettest autumns in recent memory. Stay warm, xoxo
Lovely little gifts, you had a great idea! Lovely tag too.
Loved seeing the squirrel and the green woodpecker! Here there aren't, sadly. Beautiful flowers in your garden!
What a wonderful idea Faith! absolutely gorgeous hugs xx
Your little candy cane treats are so fun and festive, Faith. Cute little tag, too. Mr. Squirrel looks very fat and content nibbling on the mushrooms! Love when you share photos of your beautiful garden.
Great idea for your little candy cane projects, Faith. I love the little tag too. TFS the photos in your garden. It's much milder here this week, but I think colder weather is on its way. I think I'm just about there with Christmas projects, although I still have all the presents to wrap. xx
Your little candy cane treats are so cute and I handed all my treats out today as well. Love all those photos and my goodness that's a large woodpecker!
Oh my goodness those candy cane holders are great. Oh I can think of a few that I could use them for...shame I am out of time for this year to get some made but I will save that lin. Check out the frost on that rose.
