Angel Get well

Hi Everyone, I have a card today that I made after an old work colleague rang me  from her hospital bed, to let me know she had fallen down her stairs and had sustained a broken hip, femur and pelvis! She had been in hospital for a few weeks already, she then went on to tell me there had been a patient diagnosed with Covid and there was a big clean on. I just hope she keeps getting better!

She always requests an angel on a card I send her, I don't like to repeat them, so I went looking for an angel and this one popped up AND it's a freebie too. I hope it will be good for her. I made it with bright colours to make it cheerier.

I printed the image out and added embossing powder as it left the printer, I heated it from the back and I was pleased it didn't buckle the vellum. (Although it may look like it in the photo, as the vellum is loose and doing it's own thing.) I added a touch of red tape in the middle to hold it flatter after the photo!

Get well stamp, dove stamps - magazine freebies
peel offs - stash
inks - Spectrum Noir markers
Vellum - Crafters Companion printable vellum
embossing powder - Altenew Antique Silver

This card is so pretty and delicate, Faith. You are skilled at that inkjet embossing! I am not sure at all I could have embossed that much real estate at once the regular way and have it turn out so well. Hope your friend recovers, this should lift her spirits! XOX

Oh! Your poor friend! What a horrible mishap.

Your card is beautiful! I didn’t realize that printed images could be heat embossed. The angel is absolutely gorgeous!
