Spooky?

Hi a quick post to show you the few boxes I made for the sweets to give out to any caller we have tonight. We have VERY few callers, it's not a big thing in the UK, but I am prepared, and still have a few of these left from last year, which will be ample for my needs, loved these boxes made up and so quick and easy. Thought I would make a spooky photo LOL.

Wine and grapes!

Hi Everyone, my post today is from an image I'm sure was a progressive freebie for October and I didn't identify it when I saved it, probably thinking I would make it asap and would know, fatal decision ay? If anyone can help I would appreciate it and edit the info here. Anyhow onto my card.

EDIT! The image is from Dragon's Lair Designs

I coloured the image in PS
sentiment is by  Paulette at Create with TLC
Photoshop mask is by PrelestnayaP image below.
dp's are by Marisa Lerin at Pixelscrappers
I used and shaped one of the papers to make a table cloth
layered it all onto black card.
The "wine" in the bottle is a different colour 'cause it's behind green glass!

Scary Witch!

Hi Everyone, the last of my Halloween cards! I think!!

I have used the Witch from
"Beware Halloween Monsters " from Paulette at Create with TLC get it here
isn't she scary? AND I made her more so with my colouring - hopefully?
I coloured her in PS, added her to Halloween paper, and
sentiment image, again by Paulette.
I fussy cut her out and added her with a wobbly "thingy"
so that when she "cackles" she wobbles. Also when she wobbles it
looks more so, because of the image underneath.
Shame you can't see the moving result :(
I added pearl drops which I encouraged to run,
by tapping the corner of the card, so their a bit scary too.
3D gloss was also dripped onto her eyes.
I layered it all onto black paper cut with
Sue Wilson double pierced squares.

showing the wobbly action sticker thingy!

A Scary Halloween!

Hi Everyone, popped in to show you another of the Halloween series I have been doing, just one more to go! LOL. and they are getting scarier!

This is another image from the "Beware Halloween Monsters "
by Paulette at Create with TLC get it here
I loved colouring this in PS.
I added a purple frame in PS and cut the image and frame out
then laid it onto black card with the edges cut with a shaped scissors.
I added 3D gloss to the moon and the "fire" and the stars.
added the sentiment using Tattered Lace pin dot oval die.
I felt she didn't need enhancing with paper and should take centre stage.

Beware Monsters!

Hi Everyone, sorry about my slow posts and lack of comments, I am just about keeping up with DT work at the moment, I hope to be back to normal soon.

My fun card today uses a great set of Halloween digis
"Beware Halloween Monsters " from Paulette at Create with TLC get it here
I used a freebie background from TLC and used
the skeleton image and one of the sentiments from the kit,
coloured them digitally and printed them out,
I printed 2 of the skeleton to have a 3D layer.

Scare time?

Hi Everyone, I'm popping in a DT post for The Male Room, which has the challenge theme of

My card started with the KennyK Stamps Mad Mummy image
the perfect paper  and both sentiments are by Paulette at Create with TLC
I cut the black layer of paper with deckle edge scissors.
the tree is a png file I added into the Cameo to enable me to cut it out,
it's by Sheila Reid at Pixelscrapper. I used 3D foam pads to raise it.
I cut out the image twice, cutting the hands and front leg to raise
them higher with 3d foam pads.
I added 3D gloss to the front sentiment and the web of the tree,
but you can't see it in the photo - sorry

Decal plant pot!

Hi Everyone, I don't know what is happening to my time. My computer, which I usually spend quite a lot of time on, has had to take second and even third place recently. My apologies if I haven't got around to commenting on your makes, the "Robot" comes up too quickly and slows me down, so I have to stop and wait until the next day, any ideas how to stop it coming up would be appreciated.

Anyhow on to my make today, A while ago I saw that Paulette at Create with TLC had added a decal to her plant pot with one of her wonderful quotes, I have been looking around a couple of companies and eventually after a lot of procrastinating - yep! and procraftinating, I went ahead and bought some and here is the result.

I added 6 TLC designs to the A4 sheet (just in case)
(as I couldn't make up my mind which to use)
and wasted 5 of them, choice made for me!
then I went online to see how to do it
and it's so easy! Should have looked first LOL.

Print - spray with clear varnish, a few coats to make it waterproof,
(If you have an inject printer as I do.)
I suggest outdoors, as the varnish has quite a strong smell.

cut around the image, soak in water for about 20 seconds,
just as you can slide it slightly off the carrier piece.
remove the piece from the water
apply to the pot or whatever else,
pull at the carrier piece and correct placement if needed.
I hope you understand all that.

Here is the result, the rose should have had more flowers, but
for a total price of £2 for a trial I am  thrilled and will be
perusing Create with TLC for more great quotes to make some presents.

Strong in Pink!

Hi Everyone, my DT post today  -

It's time for the Monthly challenge at

Our wonderful sponsor this month is
Digistamps4joy
The theme is
100% digital
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month
Use Pink - a little or a lot
I decided to make a digital card as a former work colleague has just had the news she has a malignant cyst in her breast. I thought I would combine both for this post. I will print and layer the card and send it to her, I have been told she is quite pragmatic about her cyst.

I used the beautiful image toc 007-DS4J from Digitalstamps4joy
papers are from a Tattered Lace free download
the beautiful sentiment is from Create with TLC
the pink ribbon is by JSS Just So Scrappy Designs
Everything laid out in PS following the Mojo sketch #466
the image is digitally coloured in PS.
