Tulip card

Hi Everyone, my card for the Outlawz Sketch challenge today is one I have made for one of my SiL's. Did something different for me, colouring with watercolour pencils. Just hope she likes it.

Pig Cured!!

Hi Everyone, my card today is for one of my SiL's, she has been very poorly and in bed with the flu, so I thought I would cheer her up with a fun card.

I used the Cameo to cut out the pig, layered the head, nose, feet 3D, the rest as flat layers. I love how fine the eyelashes cut. Then cut some grass, added buttons on the nose and flowers to make it girly, then 3D gloss to make the shine on the eyes.

For the Ladies

Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for Morgan's Artworld, the theme "For the Ladies", well, what do we love? Flowers? I had a looky through my Morgan's files to see what I had and found just what I wanted.

I coloured digitally to match the DP, printed the page and 3D'd.

I added glue pen to the word God, 

then added Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Flakes to it.

finished off cutting with Tonic square dies. 

Layering the gold card and Blue Pearl card.

I think it suits a lady. 

Scrapbook page and vinyl!

Hi Everyone, a little different for you today, 2 different techniques and I mean completely different to each other. This is quite a longish post, I hope it won't bore you.

The first is a scrapbook page I made with a photo I took in November and only just decided to make a page from it, I had played with the image in Photoshop, but wasn't too happy with it, until I saw a layout that would fit it for my purpose and here it is, hope you like it.

In the the main image I have used a PS dry brush filter 

and a gradient overlay to make the photo into a 

kind of line drawing, then 

used a layout template to add papers, 

elements and the original photo.

Now for something I did for fun, as I said completely different.

I found the image on the web and copied it after my #3 brother had put petrol into his diesel car for the second time! I thought I would give it to him next time we saw him, (he lives a few hours away from us). Hubby loved it and put it onto our car! I wanted to make another in white, but, he said that would be a step to far LOL.

I copied the image into my Silhouette design space, traced it and cut it out of glossy vinyl. Here it is on the car petrol cap.

Pyjamas?

Hi Everyone, my card today is my card for 2 challenges, I had fun with this. I printed and layered all the papers and image, then 3D layered the image, a touch of glitter glue on the stars in his pyjamas. I immediately thought of Wee Willie Winkie in the Nursery Rhyme, so added the rhyme. I could say another quick card IF, I could have made a choice of the papers, which took ages!!!! so all in all it took hours LOL.

Thought I would pop into this post, the sunset we had the other night, it was one which had me running for my camera and outside, just stunning, the sky was on fire.

Belated birthday

Hi Everyone, I had a phone call from an old work colleague, upset that I had forgotten her birthday and had not sent her a card, that spurred me into a quick one to get into the post, double quick, I didn't have an hour! Instead of thinking of something new, I looked in my PS files to see if I had a belated birthday card and thankfully I did. this one, of course I didn't want to do the same, and as I had got myself some new dies, well you HAVE too don't you, I used part of a set and used the same papers and an the already coloured image, which I Love anyway, because she reminds me of me!! A quick print, place papers, die cut the image and the frame, print a quick verse, from previous, still thankfully appropriate - done! and into post 30 minutes, not bad LOL.

I really didn't know what to do with this quite easy theme. SO, I did what I usually do and went through my files for vehicles, I was pleased to see this wonderful tractor come up amongst all the others, I think it has wonderful atmosphere.
