Hi Everyone, my card today is a DT card for
I love this old snail, he makes me smile, so he had to have a fun sentiment, didn't he? I decided I needed to do simple CAS, so I cut 3 layers of the snail and sentiment with my Cameo and adhered them all. I then coloured the snail with DI's and added gold ink to his shell to give a bit of shine, shame you can't see it. I also added 3D glaze to his eyes, love doing that, I think it brings them alive. Before attaching him to the card I blended a grounding for him also with DI's. That's it. VERY CAS for me.
How have you all been coping with the heat? We have been sitting in the garden with a book and doing nothing much else I have become quite lazy, BUT, yesterday I decided to get up early, do the washing and do some cleaning. WOW! then nothing to do all day, must do that more often, hahaha. I hope the impending thunderstorms don't do the damage they are expecting.

I know what you mean about getting abit lazy, in my defence I have washed every day, {just in case we can never dry anything again!!!!} haha, but its also been way to hot to do anything else Faith, wiped me out, thankfully we had a good old thunder storm last night and today its much cooler. Enjoy your day.xx
This card is just hilarious and captures my feelings in dealing with the heat this summer! The poor snail looks whipped and that sentiment is just too much fun. I especially like the little bursts leading up to his thoughts LOL You are so clever :) I hope the storms aren't too bad. We had a welcomed break from the heat with a few cooler days, and it renewed my energy (finally) Wishing you a good week ahead!

you have created another fun and clever card, faith! we have been having high temps in my part of the world, too. and last week we had a storm last week like nothing i had seen in a while. we had a huge lightening strike that hit very close to our house and took out our power. fingers crossed your storm is a bit tamer!

Hi there Faith, yes the heat…..I can relate to you and do not much more than reading, and oh the figs where ripe so I made figmarmalade. To hot to do much more than sit with my mom, who lost her memory.

I really love the cute snail Faith, it’s made a brilliant card. We didn’t get any thunderstorms at all yesterday despite the forecast, in fact no rain at all. A little cooler but still very humid. I will finally be posting a new freebie tomorrow, don’t think I will have time today as we are off on our Tuesday day out xx

We have been getting up early during the hot weather, hubby walks the dogs and get all of the jobs done, we can then relax for the rest of the day - it's great.
