80th birthday

Hi Everyone, I hope you're all well and keeping safe with the new restrictions in force, we are in shutdown and can't go out, except for essentials and exercise for 2 weeks. I'm so thankful for my hobby. My card today was a request from hubby's sister as she can't go out due to restrictions and her hubby having Alzheimer's, it is for my brother's wife on her 80th birthday. I'm lucky to have wonderful and kind hearted SiL's. I had to do them differently from mine completely. (to be shown later). Both love Autumnal colours, so I decided to make it in those colours, hoping to satisfy both lovely ladies, the giver and receiver. The flower is a layered stamp.
stamps - layered Peonies, magazine freebies
inks - Distress inks
ink - Papermania Dye inks
flowers embossed with gold and clear embossing powder
sentiment drawn on Cameo with metallic gold pen
frame cut on Cameo
embossing folder - Cuttlebug
paper -  Creative Fabrica
ribbon - stash

Seeing as we are in Autumnal colours, I'm adding the top of the garden, I know I'm a pain including the garden often, but some people actually like seeing it, OK one or two of you, wink wink, so for those, here are Autumnal colours in the garden this week :) The beans are finally taken down and we can see it all now.

Hi Faith, what a beautiful card, beautifully designed and I love the floral image.
Gosh you have a big garden, a lot of work I would guess, but it's lovely.
Good luck with the lockdown, it's harsh but necessary I think, we are going into tiers in November, still waiting to see where the Highlands will be placed, take care, Kate x

It's a really beautiful card, Faith! The flowers are so pretty. I love the photos of your gorgeous garden too. Thanks so much for sharing them.
Sorry that I'm so behind. Life has been way too busy. Oh, and I'm also very familiar with the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. You're right! She'd be in BIG trouble! lol

A beautiful design Faith, I really like Autumn if only for the colours and your garden is looking lovely. We are now in tier 3 so are pretty restricted in what we can do but at least have a bit more freedom than you do at the moment xx

What a beautiful card Faith, love the autumn colors on the frame and the embossing under the frame. Those roses are just stunning in the fold and rusty oranges. Just beautiful! And speaking of beautiful....those gardens! I love seeing them and it is fun seeing some autumn color coming in with the other colors. You guys do have a stunning outdoor space! Thanks for sharing it, I could see myself sitting out and soaking up some sun with a book. lol Hugs, Brenda

A very nice card, Faith! The layered peonies are lovely and I that paper is too. You should definitely show off your garden, many hours of hard work is apparent. I love the pink/reds, proof that Autumn flowers aren't all yellow and orange! Ha! Also dig seeing the clothesline. Every house but my present one had them in the backyard and I miss them! XXO

Such a beautiful card Faith! I do love all the gorgeous colours of this time of year. So sorry to hear you're in lockdown and I am glad you have this hobby and all of us lot on here to connect with. Lovely to see your garden! It always looks so neat and tidy! I have a pocket handkerchief sized garden and I like to call it my ahem 'conservation area'!! Vicky x

Such a pretty card. Your garden looks spectacular, share away as not seeing too many things at the moment lol! My hobbies certainly kept me going through lockdown. We are in Tier 2 but probably going into 3 on Wednesday. Am thinking of you.

WOW - your garden is SO beautiful. Hope you get through full lockdown without going insane! It's good to have a creative hobby to help you through . . . as long as Mr Mojo is locked down WITH you and not escaped!
