I thought I'd add here the harvest we had this week. It's the first time we have planted potatoes for at least 30 years. This year I decided to order some seed potatoes and they have been great. Here are some piccies before and after.
their planted with Runner Beans - yummy.
just dug up one plant 3lb of yummy potatoes
washed, they have no peel to speak of and it came off just moving with a finger tip. Boiled with butter and a little mint oh! so yummy, their taste was fabulous. Now all we have to do is wait for the beans and a perfect dish for me with boiled ham and parsley sauce - heaven.
I hope all your harvests come to good fruition too, whatever they are.
Thank you all for your lovely comments I don't thank you enough, for visiting and appreciating what I do. It's much appreciated, believe me.
Have a Great weekend.

The loose watercolour effect looks fabulous Faith x. A really beautiful card x. I have had this happen to me too, with a card not looking straight.
Those potatoes sound wonderful with the butter and mint and good on you for growing them.
What lovely words you ended your post on Faith x....
Gosh, what a gorgeous card Faith! I have that stamp too!! .... and look at those potatoes! I can taste them now. Nothing like home grown, totally different taste for sure.
Oh, Faith, the poppies are magnificent! I love that kind of "water color"ing. The effect is so unexpected and never the same. Your potato harvest is wonderful. Makes my mouth water to think of them boiled and buttered. Wish we'd gotten potatoes in this spring. Like you, I haven't grown them in years but will definitely be thinking of them for next spring. :-D
Wonderful CAS card! Love those poppies.
Great harvest, they must have tasted delicious!
Such a beautiful CAS card thanks for sharing!!!
I love those watercolored poppies - they look so pretty with the little touch of bleeding! Congrats on those potatoes, that's quite a harvest from a single potato plant and the parsley flavor sounds delicious!!
Stunning card Faith, I love poppies and the watercolour effect looks so effective. As for your potatoes crop, they look delicious xx
A beautiful card Faith, a fabulous watercolour image.
You can't beat fresh vegetables can you, we always grow our own, we also have fruit trees and a greenhouse.

This is a beautiful card Faith! I think you have got this technique perfected my friend. I love how the ink bleed some, it definitely lends to the watercolor look! Wow, look at those nice potatoes! I love potatoes although I don't eat them much. Ham, parsley sauce, green beans....one of my favorite meals. I don't know how you make your sauce, but ours is just butter and parsley cooked down with the potatoes. So yummy! That's what I love about fresh potatoes, the skins are so thin and not tough. Not that I don't love a good skin on a baked potato though. lol Looks like you guys have the perfect weather for enjoying and gardening! Not this hot stuff we have. Can't enjoy the outside unless you have a pool to keep cool by. Hugs, Brenda
Such a beautiful card Faith and great colouring too. Wow great runner beans and yummy looking potatoes too ;) Viv xx
What a pretty poppy card, Faith and I love that loose watercolour look. I've been trying my hand at watercolour this week too but not happy with the results so far. Can I come to dinner when the beans are ready - that menu sounds yummy!
Hope you are well.
Hugs

Well I LOVE your watercolour card Faith. Striking with a cas design..perfect.
The potatoes look so yummy....especially good with butter and mint. Take care, xx
Your wc card is beautiful & so are the potatoes! My sweet neighbors have been giving me zucchini. Lots of people have gardens around here, but it's not something I do. Sure enjoy when they share, though!
