I cut the stencil out on the Silhouette 3 times, I used 2 glued together of the 300gsm cut card, as an embossing folder and one for a stencil, I kept the off cuts to add to any card I use with either of them.
Because it was my intention to make more stencils, I decided to buy some brushes, I bought the cheap ones and they came with a case, I had seen on Youtube that a T square ruler was being used to get images, stamps etc straight, so what the heck, I bought that too. Now all I have to do is remember to use it!
The card is stenciled with the the EF I made. Then red pearl card added in strips and added to the sentiment to mimic the poles? Well, it was when I made it LOL. I think a great belated birthday or a forgotten celebration of some kind?

This is so cute Faith! Love the horseshoes in the background and as embellishment! Funny you should mention this ruler...definitely a God thing! My husband was trying to describe a ruler just like this and I had no idea what he was talking about. I'm going to ask him if this is what he meant when he gets home! ;)

This is where th Silhouette comes into its own, it's easy to make your own EFs and stencils! Love how you ended up with horse shoe embellishments too! And then the card you made with the stencil and a few of the horse shoes - and it's brilliant Faith! Vicky x

Look at you making embossing folders and stencils! I love this card, it is so cute and so clever! The image makes me smile for sure. The stenciling of the horseshoes looks so great for your background and I love some of the cut outs used on the front of the card too. Then there is the sentiment, oh my gosh, I love how you did the sentiment to mimic the down horse bars! The red stripes add so much to the card, really draws the eye in. Yes, those cheap make up brushes are fabulous when it comes to inking! I also love my t-ruler too, but don't use it as much as I should! lol Hugs, Brenda

I got those brushes too and I just love them, stencilling is going so much better with them. I'm using my stamping press so I suppose a form of a t square. Especially useful for the three layer stencils I just started using as they need positioning just right. Love your card with the horseshoes.
