Dies TMR #139

Hi Everyone my DT card today is for

https://themaleroomchallengeblog.blogspot.com/

Now this was a challenge for me! I have lots of dies, as have we all? I went through them and saw a bird that I liked and hadn't used, so many haven't been used!  Of course it had to be masculine, and I went through my pads of papers and found this vintage set. Which I felt had a masculine feel, I stamped the bird on part of the paper and layered it. I cut the paper out with a die, then used a digital die to cut the birdcage, adding some leaves after colouring part with a marker and then tying on the the stamped birthday wishes onto the cage. The bird's feet come as a separate die, so I stamped them onto the frame. It's a completely different card to any I have made in the past, with the colours and using so many dies.

I love this card Faith! The papers you used are fabulous, loving the bird, cage and leaves too. Yes, I have many dies and stamps as well that haven't seen any love yet. So sad, but true! Glad to see you giving some of yours some love. I think this card is a great masculine card, but see it working for a female too! Hugs, Brenda

Loving all the subtle colours on this beautiful card Faith and I have always really liked the idea of a bird OUTSIDE a cage - the symbol of liberty! Your bird is a proper cutie and I love his little stamped feet :) Funnily enough, I don't have many dies. I have a tiny tin of them - so few I haven't even had to organise them! Take care, Vicky x

I think this turned out so nice, it can be used for either a masculine or feminine card! I love all the branches on top of the cage while the bird is just hanging around on the edge! Very pretty card!
