TMR - The Sketch

Hi Everyone my DT card today is for
the sketch -

It's been a few days since I added anything here, sorry about that, our son hasn't been well, however, as it's our 54th Anniversary tomorrow, I decided to make hubby a card, we don't usually bother, except for big ones! He tells me he loves me nearly every day so I don't need a card to let me know AW!

I decided to make him one for a change. It will also make him feel guilty LOL. I have been looking through my old digital files and found this kit that I thought suited perfectly, it had hearts and masculine colours. With the sketch, a bit of layering and, a sentiment with help of my Silhouette, a touch of sparkle on the sentiment and heart - card done! Cheers to 54 years. (I was only a baby when we married!) You don't believe me?  Well I never!
digital papers and heart - Bekah E Designs 2015
black card - Dovecraft
sentiment - Silhouette Design store
 pen - Uniball silver pen
sparkle pen - Crafters Companion
all elements cut with Silhouette Cameo

Hi Faith, so sorry to hear that your Son hasn't been well, I can imagine that this difficult time will be quite frightening for him, hopefully he'll feel better soon.

You are naughty to tease your husband Faith but it sounds as if he's enjoyed being teased for 54 years! Love the arrow background - celebrating the ups and downs of marriage perhaps?! - and the scaled down version for the heart. Here's to you both and to many more years together! *raises cup of coffee*
So sorry to hear your son hasn't been well.
Sending hugs, Vicky x

I saw this sketch the week it was published and couldn't figure out what to do with it. I kept thinking in terms of images and never thought about die cuts or sentiments. Your take on it is fantastic, Faith! Great paper choice.
