Cottages - LOTS!

Hi Everyone, a while ago, I saw a stamp and HAD to buy it straight away. This is the first time I have used it though! I STILL love it and just want to do more and more in lots of different colours and ways, I've never felt like this about a stamp, how silly. I'm not the best colourer, but I did my best with them. I decided to send them as a note card to my 3 brothers and their wives and coloured them to be similar to cottages or houses in their areas of the country.

But first, the one I did for myself, to match the colours of my lounge, which I ended up framing. I told you I loved this stamp. After colouring it, I decided to add a picket fence with a border of flowers, I shortened it to fit, I print and cut it out on my Silhouette. I also framed it with a stone effect embossing folder, then framed it in a frame I found hanging about, as you do!

closeup, sorry about the glass reflection

I made this much darker, I hope you can see it clearer

House rubber stamp - Chocolate Baroque
coloured with - Distress Inks
black card - stash
sentiment - my take on a web sentiment

I coloured this one to be similar to a Welsh cottage, for my local brother

This was coloured to look be similar colours to Somerset Cottages,
I was thinking thatch cottage colours!

This was coloured to be in similar colours to the pink Suffolk Cottages, even though they live in the next County, Lincolnshire! SiL likes character cottages.

I hope you have liked my cottages

It's a beautiful house image Faith and your colouring is fabulous. I love how you've made the houses look at how they would be in the particular area your family live in. Your own one looks fabulous in it's frame.
Good to hear that you are going to tune into Barbara Grey videos, the ones I'm following are no.28 up till no.32, that's all the nuthatch image. The doodles are fabulous though, Kate x x
