Stencil

Hi Everyone, today I have a card that I tried to emulate and failed by Karen at Snippets which I loved, but at least I tried. I'm not sure how or if I will add a sentiment to the card. It's taken me a week or two to even think it's worth blogging. I tried to copy it as I had the same dies.

Anyhow, I cut the stencil out on my Silhouette, then added it to card, made a circle frame and added the dies. I dribbled some embossing powder onto the stenciled image and heat set for a little sparkle. If nothing else I'm learning.

Well I think it's worked and should definitely be shown on your blog.

Gorgeous inking and embellishments, inc the sparkles!

Faith I think that you are too rough on yourself. It may not look like the person's you were trying to copy, but it's gorgeous. The delicate blue looks so elegant. Don't give up trying.

I don't know why you are so unhappy with your card Faith, it looks pretty to me - it's not the same as Karen's card but that doesn't matter, perhaps if you put a sentiment across the centre you will be happier with it.

Oh, how creative, my friend! I love the flower dies you chose and the circle for framing the stencil piece. Your choice of soft blue for pop of color is marvelous.

Faith!! Your card is gorgeous! Perhaps as I don't see the way you wanted it to look, I just see how beautiful it is. It definitely deserves to be on your blog! I love the softer tones with the stencilling and the die-cut flowers. It really is a gorgeous card! xox
