Bird-Day

Hi Everyone, a card made for my one of my Nieces, I had made one card with this image here. I decided to try it again, but with different colours this time. The colouring was Okish, then I had a couple of splashes, which I was able to hide with the tiny butterfly and the grass behind the stone, then the sentiment went awry, I was able to redo it, but not as the one layer I hoped for oh! well. Hopefully she won't notice!

Hubby gave our lawn it's first haircut of the season, we are so lucky to have an outdoor space in these times.

A beautiful tulip appearing in the gorgeous Spring sunshine

 Muscari (Grape Hyacinth)

I hope you are all safe and well and keeping busy.

This is such a beautiful card Faith and if you hadn't mentioned there's been splashes no-one would ever have known! Love the serene garden pics. Vicky x

PS At first, I thought the bird was perched on a toilet roll but you can rest assured that I've got a bit obsessed with those just lately!!!

This is so pretty! Love your coloring. You did a great job covering up, looks fabulous. Also, who makes that sentiment? I was looking for that exact saying last week and I thought I had it, but couldn't find it. Your garden looks amazing!!

Hello Faith, what a beautiful image on your card and the coloring is geat! Don´t tell anyone about mistakes, those you only see yourself.
Your garden looks very fresh and beautiful flowers. A pity it is so cold now to sit in the garden. They said after this week it gets beter. Stay safe and healthy.

What a lovely card Faith and no one would ever know that you had covered up any mistakes as it looks perfect. Your garden looks fabulous, just hope the weather warms up a little so we get to sit out in ours but we are still having our daily walk come rain or shine xx

You covered the oops moments perfectly on your card and it turned out so pretty! At first glance I thought the bird was sitting on a roll of toilet paper and then I looked closer and saw it was a watering can on it's side! LOL Your back yard is a slice of paradise, just immaculate and so very beautiful! Love the flowers too, especially those grape hyacinths - we called them "blue bottles" when we were kids :)

Faith, your bird card is so pretty. I loved what you wrote about the butterfly covering up an ink splash! My mom and I used to stamp together and every time she had stray ink she added a butterfly over it! LOL Brings back many funny memories of some of her cards that were loaded with butterflies!! Haha
Your yard looks so beautiful!! The grass is so green--who would think that most of the world is in a moment of crisis! Beautiful tulip--I can't grow them here because the deer love to eat them. The grape muscari photo is beautiful, too! I used to have those at my old house! I remember they were very fragrant, unless I'm thinking of a different hyacinth.
Stay safe!
Hugs!
