Moustache

Hi Everyone, my card today is for my Niece's husband, I think I have used all his hobbies and as he is a musician also music over the years. SO I decided to go very different, I was looking for inspiration on the web when I came across the sentiment, I have lots of moustache papers and images, so decided to go with that, although he is clean shaven without a moustache!! The cake is another matter, he does like cake, so do I, so it's a question I would ask him, does this make sense?

Anyhow, the sketch was laid out in PS as usual, I added a Grungy PS Action to the background paper, then added more of the same type in similar colours, made a sentiment strip and coloured the moustache to match. Printed them all out, cut and layered them onto cream card. The moustache I thought was a little plain so I added white gel pen. The background paper, I embossed with another new embossing folder. You can see it plainer in the smaller photo.

I don't think you have to have a mustache to play on words!! I think it is perfect!! I got an embossing folder like that at Taylored Expressions!! Great job on the sketch...looks like you are coming out of your funk!! (Happy Dance) I have used that sketch 3 times this month!! :)

Oh I love everything with a mustache (my dh has one!!). Great trick with the gelpen.
Great paper in different tones. Will have to try that too.
