Hi Everyone my second DT card today is for
Still without mojo, when will it return? I have too many family cards to get made, it's going to be hard at this rate. I had already die cut a car, but it didn't go anywhere, even after a few attempts! So off to my files again and found this image. My brother sent it to me many years ago, so I don't know where the original came from, I was under the impression, he added the ivy etc to an old car in Photoshop, but I may be wrong. He used to be a photographer, so very experienced.
Anyhow, I took it and added it to a scalloped half, in Silhouette, found some quotes to suit the men whose birthdays were in March. The scalloped image, and the background with a quote, were print and cut, then added to the base card, the scalloped shape was 3D'd onto the card. I used a landscaped 5 x 7. Next I found some gears and cut them out in Silhouette with rose mirror card to match the rust of the car. Then they were added.
I was happy to have 2 cards with one sitting.
What will your mode of transport be?

In answer to your question, my mode of transport with be my own 2 legs with the way petrol is going!!!!
But on a better note I love the car image and your little cog embellishments and your quotes. Congrats on getting 2 cards made while you have no mojo. Be assured it WILL return! xxx
I think your image is wonderful Faith and the sentiment is perfect for it too.
I think your mojo is back on track looking at this. xx
Great way to showcase the photograph Faith and great sentiments too x
That's how everyone's cars will be looking if the price of petrol keeps going up! It's a great image and you've used it to such good effect for both cards.
What a fabulous design, Faith! Love the addition of the gears.
My mojo has been hit and miss. Some days (rare at this point), it's there and working fine. Other days (majority) it's no where to be found. Hopefully we will both be back with full-time mojo soon! Maybe we need to start a support group. :) An any case, your cards today are awesome! I find masculine cards more challenging. So impressed with the cool images and how it fades out, creating the perfect space for your sentiments. Love the additon of the rust-coloured gears! xx
Fun and fabulous cards Faith - I particularly love the quote on the second one :)
Blessings

Fantastic cards and sentiments, love the photo - i wouldn't have questioned the ivy as our grandad used to have a lost corner on the farm with old cars which were going rusty covered in ivy and other greenery;-)
Great cards, Faithie! And great photo plus your editing skills for the win x 2. xoxo
These are great! Love that image and the sentiments on the two cards are awesome!
