Seeing as this has our hydrangeas in it I thought I would share this years blooms, we haven't had as good a show as we usually do, as a late frost caught the tips of the new growth and I think the rains have encouraged growth, but not flowers.
I think this is the largest this year, you wouldn't think it in the photo,
BUT look below this one where I've measured it.
over 7 inches
you can still see the burnt tips, very few and small flowers, but the spiders like it.
Also thought you may like to see some of the rain we have had in the last few days, it's been more like Autumn than Summer, with awful thunder and lightening at times.
puddles on the patio
lashing like stair rods, you can see it bouncing up from the patio
even bouncing on the roof
Yep! it's raining!

What a darling card! Those colors are stunning. Your hydrangea is beautiful too. That is some heavy rain. We've been experiencing the thunder storms here to in NJ!

Faith, your coloring is stunning. Love your gorgeous card! Your flowers and your patio are so BEAUTIFUL!!! We have had a lot of rain, too. Thanks for sharing those wonderful pictures.
A beautiful card Faith, such a pretty image and lovely blues.
Your hydrangeas are doing really well considering the weather we have been having, they are really pretty - we have had a lovely sunny day today, the first one this week!
Have a lovely weekend.

Lovely card Faith. The image is really sweet and your backing paper compliments it perfectly, the colours look fabulous. Wonderful photos too, you seem to have had heavier rain than we have, it's been more like April with lots of showers xx
Your card is stunning Faith and your gardens as well! That rain storm looks like the one that I got last night. Thunder and lightening all around. Down pours so hard it bounces right back up off of everything. We've been lucky though in that we haven't gotten all the storms that neighboring towns have. Trees down and some hot cars and houses. I thank God for our blessing of not having any issues like that. Hugs, Brend
A gorgeous card and a wonderful colour combi. I love your photos too. we are currently in Pembrokeshire enjoying mixed weather. We have had a smattering of stair rods, just like your photo although the last two days have been glorious.
Such a pretty blurry background of hydrangeas on your gorgeous card. Gorgeous colours of blue with the pop of yellow. Thank you for sharing the photos of your own hydrangeas, they are such a lovely colour even thought not bloomed to their full potential this year. Wow on the rain but I can totally sympathise...very similar our end. More like Autumn as you say x
WOW, Faith!! Fabulous rain photos!
Love your little hydrangea sprite - she's one of my favorites out of all the sprites. Your color is exquisite and the scrollwork and scallops give such great visual texture. Well done, my friend!
Beautiful card! Look at all that rain! Lucky. We get high humidity here and then it rains for about two seconds and the more humidity.
I totally agree about the weather!!! Love the card and the rich blue and green

Totally gorgeous card and beautiful hydrangeas you have. Mine already look very much like it is fall. Probably due to the rain we had lately.
