Create with TLC Blog Hop

Here it is the long awaited and anticipated blog hop from the one and only -

Blog Hop
Vintage Vacation

Paulette has given all the DT and us Guest Designers a freebie to play with and for you to have FREE, just click on the image below my card, right click and save as, it's a SUPER image such fun, don't you just love all those little images and links to the State?
The closest I've been, is knowing a wonderful West Virginian gentleman who is now 97, we have sent Christmas cards and occasional letters to one another each year for 30 years, after meeting him when we had a small hotel.

It wasn't until after thinking about what to do with this image I thought of all the things that would have sent me to Virginia, SO, if I had gone what would I have bought as a memento that would fit into my case and be enjoyed for a few, if not many years. (If I hadn't lit it LOL). This is what I would have bought. I coloured the image digitally and used the State colours of blue and gold. I hope I have done it and the State justice.

Oh Faith this is such a great idea! It's the kind of memento I would buy too. I've never been to West Virginia either, but it makes me think of the old show Bonanza. I'm off to see what other states she has!

Oooo, what a fabulous candle, my friend! Every year in the fall, I swear I'm going to do something like this for Christmas gifts and somehow I just never get around to it. This year for sure. Thanks for the inspiration.

Such a fantastic idea to use the image as a candle wrap! I think I'd have been stumped to know what to do. The colouring is fabulous too! I also enjoyed reading of your visitor years ago and learning that you still keep in touch!
