Son birthday card

It's my son's 36th birthday today, where do the years go?

I decided, as always, to use a lion theme as he is a true Leo.  I had seen Tagxedo on a few blogs so went there to see if I could do anything and came up with this colourful lion.  The background came pure black, so in PS I played with it and added a blue mask around the the edge.  The digi papers and some of the buttons are a freebie by Dawn by Design at Digichick, the spotted buttons are by Gina Cabrera also at Digichick, I added a label in the same colour as one of the papers and "warped" it in PS. I then added multi coloured embroidery thread wound around a few times.  I'm happy to say he was pleased with it.

I followed this sketch

This is fabulous Faith - the text lion is extraordinary! Happy birthday to your son - I bet it seems like yesterday he was a babe in arms! Thanks for your lovely message - I've no idea what's going on with Feedblitz who are supposed to send my posts to people's email but I also had a load of them come through yesterday after nothing for ages!
