25th Anniversary

Hi Everyone, I slipped in another post today as I had forgotten the Outlawz sketch challenge, this is my card for our Godson and his wife. I started out with something completely different and this happened.

I used a PS shape to make a a centre piece for the 25 years, saved it to the Cameo and cut out the shape and an extra 25 out of holographic silver card, which picked up the reflection of the evening sky. I added some black and silver flocked paper I have had for years. placing it on vellum Congratulations paper again I've also had for years.

Following the sketch, after embossing the border hearts, I cut them out and, with a happy accident, the hearts on the centre were sized to add embossing to them from the same folder as the top border. They are 3D'd.

I added an embossed sentiment and ribbons to match the sketch. Hope you like it.

  1. What a lovely card, Faith! Great take on that sketch, and you've made it very special! :o)

  2. Great use of that sketch, Faith! Lovely card.

  3. Spectacular and such a great take on the sketch! Love the heart border and the little embossed hearts on the center. Gorgeous!

  4. A fabulous card Faith, the silver and white is very elegant.

  5. I hesitate to say this (as I know I'll be repeating myself in the future!) but this has got to be your best look yet. Interesting reading as to how you did this with PS and the cameo. The silver hologram paper was perfect for the year and I'm loving this design. Tiny metal heart border & trim look grand with the 'cut-outs' of the circle enclosing the anniversary year. They are going to be so thrilled! TFS & hugs

  6. This is quite a festive and stunning anniversary card! I love all that shiny silver!

  7. Lovely design Faith, the little hearts make it really special x
