Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for
I have a GNephew birthday coming up, and thought as his birthday is near Christmas I would send him a fun snowy scene. I started by taking the Elk, I have had a long time, into my Silhouette and print & cut it 3 times. I then coloured him in DI's, and stuck them together.
Next I blended a background using a stencil with DI's to shape the background and clouds. I then used another large stencil for the marks / footsteps in the snow. The trees and birds were stamped. The birds were only going to be one set, but a mark of ink in the sky and they became 3 sets! I then I die cut a birthday sentiment in gold, to match the sunrise, I thought.
The background was attached onto a paper layer that matched the Elk colour, it was then placed onto the base card and the Elk glued onto it. He does make me laugh, in the past I actually won two challenges at Beccy's with the Elk, here and here
