Daffodil birthday

Hi Everyone, another daffodil card, well I do love the flowers and have some lovely stamps. I had made it for a DT challenge but forgot I had made it, looking through my pictures I realised I hadn't posted it, so here it is.

I embossed the card first and then stamped the daffodils and the sentiment, and coloured the daffodils with DI's. Then decided to punch a round corner. Next it was just layer and glue on to gold card. A very simple card, with limited supplies but, I really like it.

stamps and embossing folder - Magazine freebies SC&P #240
inks - Distress inks mustard seed, fossilised amber, squeezed lemonade

Here are some daffs in the garden at the moment, on a very dull day today, such happy flowers, that brighten my day. Spring is definitely springing, everything has begun to show itself, hubby has been out pruning and mowing the lawn. I just hope the frosts, supposed to be due this weekend, don't stop them in their burst of life.

Beautiful card and beautiful daffodils both on the card and in your garden. My mini daffs are in full flower but no sign of the full size daffs at all!.

It's been a very good season for Daffs this year I think as there have been some beautiful displays out and about. The embossing folder is beautiful.

Your card is perfect. I love the gold mat and rounded corners. The daffs are looking wonderful here too and there seem to be so many this year. I have a lovely display in my front garden. You remind me that I should take a picture before they are gone for another year xx
