Winter mid month WLSC

Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for We Love Stamping. This month, we would love to see your cards with the theme of

Winter

I have quite a few stamps that I could have used, but went with Winter florals, my subscription magazine had a wonderful colour mix using the free stamps in the magazine, so I thought I would case the card from it.

I started by masking part of the card. I cut masks for the poinsettia and holly, then stamped the poinsettia placing the mask over it, next stamping the holly and added the masks to them too. I then stamped different leaves. The masks were removed and I used DI's to colour everything. Next I coloured the background with a paler shade of the purple and stamped the sentiment.
floral stamps - Magazine freebies SCP248
sentiment stamp - Colorado Craft Co. Magazine freebies SCP248
inks - mowed lawn, peeled paint, picked raspberry, dusty concord, milled lavender,

Don't forget, your image must be hand coloured. We now require At least one stamped element on entries. Those of you like us, who love to stamp, we would still love you to enter your fully stamped entry.

We have Three prizes from AALL and Create, A4 sets Pheasants, Alstromeria and Key Botanicals

Works very well with the masking Faith and a real statement sentiment balancing nicely with the Poinsettia.

I do love your winter florals. Those stamps work really well together. It is a long time since I have done any masking like that. I think I am too lazy! Love the sentiment too xx

This is a beautiful seasonal make Faith and the pretty grouping of the poinsettia, foliage and berries works well on the right with the large sentiment on the left. x
