Nativity card

Hi Everyone, my card today was made for a few on my Christmas card list. I have had no mojo and looking through stamps and file images, I found this. I thought it beautiful, and it would be a quick make, with far too many cards on my list, I had to get down to it.

The image itself was very simple, I decided to add a pale blue circle behind it, and add the Peace, Joy and Love in an arch on top of it. A few were printed out and cut, then layerd onto a matching blue pearlised paper. I'm happy with it, but I hoped it would spur me on to get my mojo in gear, but nope.

As for the piccie, even the camera was out with the framing, making it look like the blue layer wasn't straight, it was, and if I tried straightening in Photoshop, it made other parts go off kilter, so I decided to just show it as is, so to speak.

I hope you are all getting on well with your card list, and mojo is being kind to you.

It’s lovely Faith, my mojo has gone AWOL as well and don’t get me going over the price of stamps, bought 6 books of 2nd class and nearly fainted at the price 😂 xx

Oh I like the pale blue circle added to this. You are right that is a beautiful image and needs to be the center of attention and that is exactly what you did. Love it! Hey, as you know I have not crafted a lot in the last couple years. Beccy's Place month long challenge has helped me and brought back some of the fun to crafting. I know you use digital images so if you happened to win you can get digital images from the store. But if not then you have fun, find your mojo and make cards! She has black and white and one color that I want to make now I just need to find the time!

Beautiful card and image. I hope your mojo returns soon, i can't craft without mine and very difficult if you feel you have to make Christmas cards. Its a shame for it to become a task when crafting should be enjoyable so i hope you find that mojo fast! x

Sometimes the simplest card are the loveliest. I feel your mojo pain, I really don't care if I ever make another card at the moment, lol. I worked on holiday cards all year long and now I don't wanna choose who gets what and address them, lol. I'm making an Autumn banner to go on a huge bare wreath over our fireplace to display until I mail the cards, then make a Winter one, take down the Autumn decs and put up Christmas. But all I really wanna do is art journal. Sheesh! xoxo

Looks pretty straight to me !!!Luckily enough here in Greece people don't really send cards at Christmas so I don't make too many but have made a rod for my own back as I sell my cards in my shop and more and more people are asking for them..This is beautiful such a lovely Christmas scene.
