Focal sentiment/quote WLSC mid month

Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for We Love Stamping. This month, we would love to see your cards with the theme from Karen

Focal sentiment/quote

My first card for the challenge was easier, due to the large stamp, this required some thinking! In the end, I decided to look through my stamps and dies and see what I could come up with, and this is it.

I found a dream catcher die and stamp and extra stamps from the same magazine. I embossed a few vertical lines onto a piece of card, then die cut the circle part and the feathers. It had a stamp with the die cuts, so used that to silver emboss onto vellum, and attach to the wheel. It didn't match the pattern of the die cut, but I think I got away with it?

I cut more feathers out of vellum, and attached all feathers to the dream catcher. I stamped the sentiment, then attached the card to the base card. Next, I placed the dream catcher onto the embossed lines and added gems to enhance it. The card is so much better in real life, with the embossing and vellum showing up more.
dream catcher dies and stamps - Magazine freebies - SCP #190
sentiment stamp - Textures by Lou Collins,  same magazine
vellum - Crafters Companion
gems - stash

Two prizes from AALL and Create 1) Rose stamp, stencil and ephemera 2) Floral stamp and stencil

I love the white on white look with the embossed texture and black sentiment. That's a clever idea with the feathers too. A great card. I think I might have that magazine and I am ashamed to say that I don't think I have used the die xx
