Hi Everyone, what a week we have had, my birthday visitors, then a few very disturbed nights with the culmination of my son admitted to hospital, coming home, then readmitted. Then my computer updated, that's supposed to be good isn't it?
Thankfully my son is on the mend, a bit fragile, but hopefully home today.
My computer is another story and that is why I am writing this post. I will be taking a break from everything, i.e. commenting, until I can sort things as I had them and know what is where etc. I was very lucky that both my son and eldest brother saved my documents etc on a hard drive. Although I lost all my programs, including my wonderful diary boo hoo. I had so many reminders, dates, appointments and DT details on there, which are all now gone. I know it could be a LOT worse. At least I have my document files folder intact.
It takes so much longer for me to work as things are, due to no program to do something, or it's a new one that I have to get used to the way it works, so after I sort everything, I hope I will be back with a quicker 'puter that I know where everything is and is recognisable to me.
I have my phone for emails etc, but I'm useless at using it for anything other than emails and the phone! Must be an old age thing? Nah! not me.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Faith, sounds awful. Do hope things sort themselves out and that your son gets well soon. Take care lovely lady, and BTW, I can't use my phone for anything other than calls and messages, useless am I ....xx
So sorry to hear the news about your son Faith and hoping that he gets home today x. Glad you haven't lost everything with your computer problems but horrendous you have had this trouble x. Sorry to hear about your son and hope he feels better when he comes home.I am useless with the computer as long as everything works how it should I am fine but any little change and I am lost,luckily my youngest grandaughter is brilliant and always has been --how do they know??? I have a desk top computer and no internet on phone just use it to take pics and use as a phone lol.Got a new phone because it took better pics-and now have no idea how to upload pics to the computer!!!

Sorry to hear of your computer difficulties. I have had this happen and I know how frustrating it is. I hope you get things lined out and are back real soon. I understand the phone thing, I do not know how to do anything but email on mine. Hurry back, please. You are missed when you aren’t here.
So sorry to hear the news about your Son Faith, so distressing for you and so frightening for your Son. I hope he manages to stabilise and gets back to feeling better.
Bloody computers, I really wish we could do without them, but that's not possible in this day and age. I constantly think I was born into the wrong century.

Sorry to hear that you have had the computer problems and that your son had a health scare. But, I so glad to know that he is doing better and that you have a new computer.

Hope your son makes a full recovery Faith and that you get your computer sorted very soon. I always dread updates and am manic about doing backups - I do one at the end of every day and another weekly one to a different drive. Hope to see you back very soon xx

Oh Faith, I'm so sorry to hear about everything happening! I hope your son is doing better and will fit as a fiddle soon! As for the computer, oh my I feel your struggle and the struggle is real! Oh crikey - that is a nuisance about the computer. It’s like wading through treacle when programs change isn’t it?

Oh goodness me Faith so sorry to hear about all of your troubles I do hope your son is on the mend. How awful losing so much info on your puter we really do rely on them so much and they are sorely missed when misbehaving.

So sorry to hear your son hasn't been well & hope he has a good recovery. Bummer about the computer! New phones & new computers are something I dread rather than enjoy, so I understand what you're going through. Hope the computer turns out not to be too hard to get used to.
