Hello Everyone, I hope you have all recovered from the 3 recent storms to hit the UK and no one had damage.
It's a while since I showed you some garden photos, so I thought it's time to bore you again! We have Spring coming into the garden like crazy, I even read yesterday it could be the earliest Spring ever! Anyhow, I thought I would show you our daffodils and crocus that I took in between showers last week, they stood up to the wind and lashing rain and still give me joy. The rest of the daffodils in the garden are either coming up later or have disappeared below ground, however our tulips are are certainly putting on a splurge of growth, so many, I wonder where they came from, I hope they flower!
Now on to why you are here, here's a card I did for my Carpenter Great Nephew a few months ago and forgot to show you.
I was in a complete lack of mojo mindset before making this card, when I'm like that, I go through my digital items and see what I've got to suit, then mojo comes to life slightly, enabling me to make a card.
I had all the elements on this card from a digi kit "I'm his Garage" by Sherwood Studio at DigiChick in 2012. I am going back and using older schtuff that I haven't used enough of. This kit came in very handy with lots of tools and elements that my GNephew uses. I gathered lots of the elements and designed the card to suit him, the sentiment was found on the web

Daffodils and crocus! Among my favourite flowers, Faith!
And a great card for your gnephew! Hugs, my friend.
Haha Faith this is wonderful a gorgeous card and so fun, love the sentiment.
I have two Daffs that have showed up, sad because I had a whole bunch, anyway, they look pretty and fingers crossed its a sign of better days to come.xx
This card is just wonderful for a carpenter, with all the punny sentiments inside and out! Loving the nails and measuring tape borders that just make this a perfect one for your grand nephew! You always come up with the most genius ideas for specialty cards - and this might be one of my favorites! Well done! Lucky you having flowers pop up out of the ground already! One day we have winter, next day we have spring. It's been crazy lately - I'm either dressed too warmly or underdressed and I can't seem to find the middle anywhere! LOL
Oh, how wonderful to see your beautiful flowers, Faith! Just like on my recent art journal pages! We still have SO MUCH snow, with temperatures this morning of -32 (-41 with the wind). I think it will be some time before I see any flowers. Your card is great, and I love the sentiment! lol
Oh I am so loving seeing spring pop at your house Faith!!! I have noticed just the other day that I have some "new green" coming up from what little plants I have. lol It makes my heart excited as I'm so ready for spring. I just need it to not be so dang muddy! lol I LOVE this card for your Great Nephew! It looks so professional, the sentiments are so funny and perfect for a carpenter. I just love it! Hugs, Brenda
Beautiful photos of the spring flowers! I can’t until we see them bloom around here, but I’m afraid that we’ll have to wait a bit yet. We are due for more snow tomorrow. But, in the meantime, I can look at your lovely photos. And, your card for your great nephew is awesome! Perfect for a carpenter! Wonderful carpentry items and fab sentiments inside and out, too fun!!
I so hope the stress levels have been going down Faith? Thank you for sharing these wonderful signs of spring and of course extra loving the daffodils. Yes I did see many times the photo of Porthcawl and the crashing of the waves at the pier Faith. Still blustery up our way and more to come I think. Your card for your carpenter Great Nephew is perfect, thoughtful and such fun and thank you for the smile Faith x.
Wonderful photos and card Faith. No idea what we shall be coming home to next week, just hope the house is still standing !! xx
Beautiful Daffodils. Fantastic card love Alison xxx
Hi Faith, your Spring flowers are well on and so beautiful, I've got green shoots but now flowers yet.
Love your card, a fabulous card for a carpenter, super images and a brilliant sentiment, keep safe, Kate x
Perfect, clever card for your grand nephew Faith. Great design and as always the perfect sentiment that's sure to bring a smile. Love seeing your daffodils and crocus. Stay safe. xx
Delightful card and sentiment Faith! Oh I miss flowers in the yard, thank you for sharing yours~
Hahaha, I absolutely love this card Faith and might have to CASE it for my brother! Love the pun but also the 'Measure twice, cut once, then force it to fit' which is much more me and definitely NOT my accurate brother! Love the tools in the pockets and it's great inspiration for some tool dies that I won in Di's Snippets Playground last year. Isn't it lovely to see the spring bulbs coming up! Thanks for sharing your photos. Vicky x
Hee hee, Faith! This is adorable - inside and out! I bet he loved it! Nice to see your daffodils and crocus, ours are just popping through, so I guess we are a couple of week behind you! Spring can't come soon enough!
All our snowdrops are in flower but no sign of tulips or daffs yet-thankfully we had no damage but daughters little dog got lifted into the air and blown across the garden-thankfully unhurt just frightened.Tonight the wind has really got up again after a pretty calm day even had washing out. Brilliant masculine card love all the tools, great borders and brilliant sentiment lol

My crocus are out and the daffs.
Just love this and it made me smile and then the inside made me laugh so much.
Hi Faith - Absolutely brilliant card!! I employ folk to do work like this for me as I'd make a mess of it. I'm sure your Great Nephew loves this card.
The flowers in your garden are lovely. We have lots of wonderful hellabores in flower along with some dwarf iris. I'm hoping that we don't have any really cold weather now.
Hope you're keeping well. Hugs, Deborah x
LOL love your card - another great creation thanks for sharing!!!
Oh what a fun card! We've got lots of flowers blooming in the neighborhood here, too. Spring is coming early!
Not sure if I finished writing a comment or not, so I'll do it again. Love the cute BD card--perfect for a carpenter! Flowers are blooming in our neighborhood, too. Spring is definitely coming!
Hi Faith, love the card and all the many little details you include. Plus giggles at the great humor. Love that you are revisiting old stuff, wish we'd all do that all the time, lol. My head spins at all the new coming out. So relieved you came through the storm ok. I'm surprised at how Springy it is over there already. Our lawn is still brown and no bugs yet, although we have heard the crickets once or twice in the evenings, then another cold front blows in and silences them. Anyway, lovely blooms, I'd enjoy them too! Hope you are well, xoxo
the first daffodils and crocuses are popping up in my corner of the world, too, faith. i love seeing them as i walk my dog in the mornings. your card for your great nephew is fabulous. thanks for sharing the photos from your garden.
Bahaha!! This is so fun - and I love the play on words! What a great card for your carpenter great-nephew.
And I will never bore of your garden photos - especially when they include daffodils!!
Hilarious! I love this fun masculine card Faith. xxx
