Hi Everyone here I am with my DT card for today
This is for the challenge at QKR. Our challenge is on the 1st and 15th of every month, so you have 2 chances every month to enter the challenge.
We will select two winners each of the weeks
1 using QKR Stampede or Eureka Stamps image
and 1 using any image!

I nearly forgot to post this, until a friend came to visit and wanted to see how my die cutting machine worked, I was in the middle of showing her and came across this card and remembered I hadn't done a post for it. It must be the SUN, we haven't had any for weeks and then the last couple of days have been frosty and very cold, but very sunny, perfect Winter days. AND! the nights are drawing out, Spring is on the way, says she hopefully, funny how the sun affects me.
My card today is shaped and for a Winter birthday. I thought this delightful snowman deserved the snowflake. I made it using my digital die cutting machine again and cut the giant snowflake into a 6x6 card size. I adjusted the snowman image to fit the centre, the papers were used to add to the extra layer snowflakes, included in the design. I print and cut the papers in the snowflake shape and the Snowman circle. I coloured him with inks, to match the paper, he was attached to the centre of the snowflake after inking the edges, to outline the circle. The Hot chocolate image was included in the paper design kit and I added the birthday sentiment and cut and printed both, also added an offset layer behind them. I added Nuvo Glaze to his nose and used a Quickie Glue pen to add silver glitter snowflakes! I stamped a sentiment inside and forgot to take a piccie! Another memory fail!

Oh wow Faith this is such a special design and I love the image its amazing, I LOVE it.
The sun makes a huge change to life doesn't it, if we get a few hours sunshine I feel I can move mountains, its such a mood lifter.xx

What a lovely card Faith! I agree that the snowflake shape is perfect for your cheeky snowman. You made me laugh with your optimism about spring. I get a bit giddy in the sunshine too but I think we've probably got 7 or 8 months to go before the spring LOL! Only kidding - the snowdrops are beginning to come out here and there are bulbs pushing up everywhere. Hang on in there! Vicky x

That is quite a fantastic snowflake card! Beautifully designed with that cute snowman too! Wishing you more sun to fill your days - we will hopefully see some here today after the bitter cold weather yesterday! At least the "big storm" fizzled out for the most part and we didn't get all the snow they predicted so I'm grateful! Wishing you a great week ahead!
OMGosh, I LOVE this card Faith!!! What a fun card, a huge snowflake with such a cute snowman in the center.....it can't get any cuter! lol The the paper you used for the inside of your snowflake, so cozy. It is definitely hot chocolate weather here too, been very cold. No sun today as we got snow, ice and rain last night into this morning. Bret said it was very slow going to get to work this morning. The slush was slippery I'm sure! I know what you mean about how the sun effects you, it does most of us I think! I know it does me too. I NEED sun! lol I'm so over winter.....bring spring on!!!
