Age card

Hi Everyone, this is my second DT card today, all or nothing ay? LOL.

Anyhow I made this card recently and realised it fitted the theme for
https://themaleroomchallengeblog.blogspot.com/
I made it for our Great Nephew, who rang me and told me it was the best card he had ever had, I was well chuffed with that. He is a Junior Champion Rower and taken by his Dad, goes all over the country, he has lots of cups and medals, so making the trips worth it LOL.

I started with a silhouette of a rower that I made into a frame and added a shadow of gold card in Silhouette Cameo, I also cut the star shape and the 16 on the Cameo.

The background stamp, is one of the 3 I won recently from Chocolate Baroque. It's made by Crafty Individuals. A REAL red rubber stamp, and, I have to say it stamped beautifully. I suppose you could call this card "mixed media?"
background stamp - Crafty Individuals
gold card - stash
rower - unknown
Action Wobble - stash

this is the 16 in action

Wow Faith, this is one cool card for sure! I can see why this was so well received! I love that stamped background, the canoe image you made into a frame is amazing! I love that you added the age on as well, even though it was the challenge, it is always nice to customize a card this way. Love, love, love it! Congrats to your Great Nephew and his accomplishments! Hugs, Brenda

WOW! I missed this one, but thank goodness I found it now! So glad that 16 yr old boy appreciated the wonderfully personal card you made for him & told you so! Not all kids (or even adults) would do that! So very special!
