BBQ King?

Hi Everyone, thank you for visiting when I have been such a bad blogger recently. Not my choice, but the worst flu I have had for about 30 years AND the first time I have had the flu vaccination - a link?

Please accept apologies for not visiting your blogs and enjoying your beautiful projects. I won't be able to catch up, as I have to catch up at home on lots of things I've missed this last 5 weeks!

Anyhow my card today is for the Limited Runs progressive FB Challenge, we were given this cute little chappie and I decided to give him a background to sit in.
BBQ chef - Limited Runs
coloured in PS CS6
background paper - Janet Scot Pixelscrapper
cloud background - Tina Shaw Pixelscrapper
grasses - asstd designers
black card - stash

Sorry to hear you've been so poorly, and yes I do believe that the flu jab can spark the illness, same thing happened to me a few years ago. Rubbish said the health professional, but I knew better. I hope you are feeling tip top now.
You card is such fun, love the image and the bright papers, super design too, take care, Kate x

Glad you're back and feeling better. I've never had a flu shot yet either Faith, and this is not the first time that I have heard of this happening! Love your little b-b-q king! Such a cute little image and the coordinating papers are lovely!

I'm so glad you're feeling better, my friend. I stopped getting flu shots after getting them 3 years in a row and getting a heavy dose of flu during the season. I haven't had any bouts of flu without the shots. :-D Now, comment on your card - I love your overall design and your "paper piecing" on his chef garb is perfect! Wonderful sky.
About catching up on visits - don't even worry about it. I'd rather have you put your energies into creating new things that I can see when I visit than have you try to visit all of us and perhaps suffer a relapse. Hugs. :-D

Cute card Faith and you are still a better Blogger than me as I haven’t posted anything for weeks. Sorry to hear you have been unwell, I’ve never had the flu thank goodness but have had some really bad colds since December which is unusual for me, must be an age thing !! xx

Your BBQ chef looks quite at home in his little scene. Gorgeous design Faith and loving the papers too x.
I have never had the flu jab...didn't believe in them...until this year.
I had such a bad flu the Christmas before last and vowed then to have the jab.
First one this year and no flu.....who knows???
Flu is awful, you feel so bad and for so long...So glad you are on the mend, but take it easy x
