LOVE your Men

Hi Everyone, a card that I'm late for at
https://themaleroomchallengeblog.blogspot.com/2019/02/challenge-104-love-your-men.html
I don't know where the time is going these days, I seem to have too much to do and not enough time to do it in. Anyhow, here is my LATE card for The Male Room, I had this card in my mind as soon as I saw the challenge. My hubby is the best and thought he should be told - Again! LOL
background paper and striped paper - DesignBundles
frame - Dragons Lair Designs
font - Boller typeface
rock & shells - Studio 4
anchor - unknown freebie
mirror card - The Range
Rock, frame, anchor are all 3D'd
All cut out as print and cut or cut on the Silhouette Cameo,
so much easier than by hand LOL.

This is a before and after photo of the anchor, I cut it out of silver mirror card, then added Whisper pigment black ink (so very old). I added Dovecraft clear embossing powder to it and heat set, I love the effect it gives. I think it has a name to this technique but forget what - sorry. I cut the bottom chain to be able to link it to the anchor.

Awww...great card! I always enjoy anything with a sea theme, as I'm so totally land locked! ;o) Also, I believe it's important that we remind our good husbands of such things on a regular basis! lol Well done! :o)

Beautiful card! I love your progress pictures for heat embossing the anchor and chain. So smart to cut the chain so it can link to the anchor. I never think of clever stuff like that. Thanks for the comment about linking up to the male room. I've saved that challenge blog link now. Hugs!!

Wow Faith, this is a fabulous card! I love, love, love that sentiment too. Perfect for the love of your life too. I love how you did your anchor, have no clue what it is called either, but it sure makes for a great look on the anchor. I don't know where times goes either, but it sure does slip by really fast doesn't it?! Hugs, Brenda

Oooo, I adore this marvelous masculine card, Faith! Great job with the embossing on the anchor and chain. I'm spending today catching up on all I've missed while moving. You've been really busy, my friend. The move meant there was little time for crafting, blog visits, or commenting. Now that I'm moved, the unpacking and organizing begins and I wish I could focus on just the craft room but family duties call, too. Still, it's great to be able to visit my fav blogs again and review all that was posted in my absence. Please forgive that I didn't leave individual comments. Hugs, my friend. :-D
