Country Scene

Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for

Anything Goes Challenge
you can use any image.

I chose this image as, to me, it is an English river scene, so lush and green, where you can go for a river boat ride and enjoy the the peace and beautiful countryside. Are you transported to it? My card is very simple, but I really like it.

coloured digitally
I added a digital frame and let the roses fall over it
DP The Lovely Studio (used to be Pink Petticoat)
gems from stash
all layered onto black card

Oh yes Faith....your card has transported me to a childhood memory of a place called Port Meadow in Oxford down by the river with the spire of Christchurch College in the distance. A lovely card.

This scene takes me back to days I spent at Cambridge University as an exchange student too long ago to even remember. For a California girl, it was an incredible experience and I still want to return one day. Those roses are absolutely gorgeous, Faith! Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Faith, this is stunning! And I do feel transported into the peacefulness and solitude of your beautiful scene. Something about water that is so healing and good for the soul. Beautiful card design!
