Recent bird photos

Nothing made, so I thought I would share some photos taken recently and, due to visitors, schedule this post. I'm not a good photographer (like my professional photographer youngest brother) and keep promising one day I will get a camera like the one I had stolen years ago, even though this camera was what I call expensive, I haven't really been happy with the shots taken with it.

I had to identify these on the web and this photo of the Yellow Wagtail was taken from there, I haven't seen one of these before.

Neither had I seen these Bullfinch before, so really pleased to see both these birds visit our garden. These are taken by me.

Here is a Jay, a visitor on the most awful of days, but another rare visitor to the garden.

Cozy socks!

Hi Everyone, I try and enter the Outlawz Wednesday sketch, this week I REALLY had a rush on, with unexpected visitors and more expected, - I LOVE when that happens, no, really I DO!

Anyhow my quick post is something I couldn't play long with, so went for ready shapes and papers and sentiments, but I am pleased with how it turned out.

Wine bottle tag, Sweet jar and a box

Hi Everyone, I have decided to show you a few gifts made with my Cameo, water decal paper and a couple of dies. Yep! I've been busy, well maybe not as busy as some of you LOL

I've added all the projects because they are of the same projects.

 Wine glasses
I used inkjet water decal paper to transfer the fabulous sentiments
from Paulette at  Create with TLC onto two of the glasses,
I added a bunch of grapes to the one glass in PS.

Box
then boxed them in a box from SVG cuts I added a
Spellbinders die shape around the top and bottom of each box.
added a free tag die and a bow die a fabby blog friend sent me.
I made 4 boxes, all different,

Wine bottle Tag
Cut circles of different card to make a bottle tag
free cut a Christmas tree which is placed over a
Tattered Lace pin hole oval die and added
an X Cut Happy Christmas die
added the same bow die

Sweet jar
inkjet water decal paper to transfer the sentiment I saw on the web,
onto a couple of coffee jars I have been saving.
I hope you like them. the sweet jar goes into a box too.

I tried this sentiment on an angle, not sure if I prefer the angle or the straight one above.

Hi Everyone, here's my card for the Outlawz sketch challenge. I saw the sentiment by Paulette at Create with TLC and then the image Java Fox by Craftin Desert Divas and they worked together so used them with the sketch - simple as that. LOL

17th birthday Rugby player

Hi everyone a birthday card made for my Great Nephew using an image I won at The Outlawz challenge. He was playing for a large club, but decided to much "politics", shame as he was doing so well. Not his "path" it seems.

Mobile phone card

Hi Everyone, another birthday card for you. I saw the Outlawz sketch challenge, I liked the sketch and as I had a birthday card for my Great Nephew to do, decided to use it.

I saw a mobile phone image given free on the web, sorry I didn't take note of the blog, but she had used it as a cut file for the Cameo, so I made it into a file for myself and I'm quite pleased how it turned out. I made 3 layers and added acetate under the black top layer.  I also used an image to cut the clock hands out on the Cameo, they were SO tiny and they cut beautifully, I used 3 layers to make them a little sturdy.

18th Male birthday card

Hi Everyone, my card today is quite different for me, made with bought paper, a die and my Cameo only the inside was digital and that was for the sentiment, I even added the paper inside too! Felt VERY strange.

Paper is a pad I bought in The Range for £2.99 unbelievable value, it has 24 12x12 sheets of double sided paper which is 250gr in weight. It's made by Craft Sensations. I so rarely buy paper and SiL had a pad that she had bought to make little bags and boxes, I asked where she had it and she told me. Couldn't help but share the info!

Base card is from Lidl
Birthday die by Tonic
Double Lattice die cut down by Tattered Lace
I filled in some of the shapes from the waste
in PS I added a PS flame shape to the 18
then the 18 was cut on the Cameo,
it was then covered with Tonic gold glitter.

Crackle of a fire!

Hi Everyone, my card today was made after seeing the sentiment from the "Winter is Here" set  HERE by Create with TLC. I knew exactly what I wanted to do and this is the result! it looks a bit pinky, but it isn't, the day was dark to take good photos.

Christmas Blessings

Hi Everyone, my card today is one I cased from HERE such a beautiful card by Karen. I loved the idea so went about it all in PS. I duplicated the sentiment and greyed them out a little and accentuated the other with red, I wanted to use a modern font, but after trying a few, felt this (BlackChancery) suited the image, I hope I am right.

Mouse in a log!

Hi Everyone, another Christmas card with the strange green card I manged to match with the Crafters Companion CD, Christmas at Moonbeam Meadow. It has quite a few cutie images and as I have to send them by post need them as flat as possible. This one is just printed with double sided tape around it that has been glittered with Tonic Pure Sheen Glitter. Simple, but perfect for one of the few youngsters I send to. I love the image.

"Baking up a Holiday" December 4th TLC Creations

Welcome to a delicious Blog Hop
with images from Create with TLC.

Hi Everyone, here is my part of the Blog Hop at Create with TLC Paulette has been very generous with her images and the DT have made fabulous cards and projects with them, I hope you will join in with the HOP you will be able to collect some freebies on the way.

Anyhow, on to my project. I had a few thoughts on what I could do with this sentiment, then decided to invite a few friends around for a get together meal, we haven't done it in a while, the sentiment got me thinking about it, so decided to do it, purely because of the sentiment! It made such a good idea to get together and make it a little different with an invitation and paper plates for the hors d'oeuvres. I may even do the recipe that I opened an old cook book page on. However I shall change a few of the ingredients, BUT it will look similar - hopefully LOL.

Pudding mice

Hi Everyone, I have a card I have made from a CD today. I bought the CD while it was reduced just to try CD images out. I find it strange that I just print them instead of "playing" with them, but after the 3rd one made I got a little used to it.

Anyhow on to my card.
The image is from a Crafters Companion CD
 entitled Christmas in  Moonbeam Meadow.
The green card is from a Dovecraft pack, I have to say, until
I bought this CD, I have struggled to match anything to the odd green!
image is layered onto silver card
cut with a Tattered Lace pin dot die
the buttons from the CD are also cut with the same die
