Thank you

 Hello Everyone.

I want to thank you for your continuing support of my blog, but mostly for the kind thoughts, prayers, and beautiful cards I have had for the loss of my Dear Husband. I can't do much else but let you all know it has all touched me greatly and made me feel that I have so many friends around the world who care.

It will be impossible for me to reply to you all or even send thank you cards. I wouldn't have enough time to respond to your lovely words and thoughts, but -

I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

I will be back in the New Year, hoping to fulfil my commitments to my DT work and comments.

In the meantime

I'm thinking warmly of you, and wishing you

and your family an extra measure of comfort,

joy, and hope this Christmas.

Red & Green WLSC mid month

Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for

We Love Stamping.

This month, we would love to see your cards with the theme chosen by Anesha

Red & Green

I love the traditional red and green for Christmas, this is my offering for mid-month at the Challenge.

With things as they were for me at the time of making this month's cards, and all before hubby's passing. I followed on a theme of the last couple of months using another inspirational card by Katie Skilton from my subscription magazine.

After stamping, I die cut the image and coloured it with DI's. I found some plaid paper in an old paper pad, which was placed and attached to the image. I stamped the sentiment and placed it under the image. These were then attached to red paper. Then onto the base card.

Red & Green

I love red and green for Christmas, so traditional. With things as they were for me at the time of making this month's cards, all before hubby's passing. I used my subscription magazine again for inspiration by Nicky Gilbert.

I stamped the wreath, then coloured it with DI's. I tried some white pens for the berries, but they didn't give the impact I wanted, so I used tiny pearls. Next, I stamped the sentiment and cut it at an angle.

I then went looking for red and green paper, none suitable in my paper pads, so I went into my files and found this red and green tartan, which I felt was perfect, I hope you agree. I printed it and layered it onto green card, the wreath was placed onto that and all placed onto the base card. It is pure luck the reds match with the inks and printing.

Christmas Colours TMR

My DT card today is for

Mojo was definitely on holiday, with things as they were for me at the time of making this month's cards, all before hubby's passing, so red and green, an idea, red background and green trees, simple yes?

Except I went around in circles with what I wanted to do, then decided CAS. I went into my Silhouette and cut the Noel from the red card. I couldn't find a Christmas embossing folder I liked for this, so used an argyle folder I have had for years. It is a masculine design, after all.

I had numerous trees I could have used, but decided on these. I cut them out in white and then looking for something else I found the holographic card, so cut the snow details again. They were added to the trees. I decided to cut a piece for under the Noel too, it added extra sparkle. All of them were added to the red card and all attached to the base card.

I then added a cut star, that I had coloured with gold ink, and decided to splatter the same gold ink onto the red card.

I hope your red and green card comes together easily. See you at the Challenge.

With no mojo and with things as they were for me at the time of making this month's cards. I went through my stamps and found this beauty, so a simple stamping and silver embossing, layering onto silver mirror card and my card was done. I wish every card came about so quickly.
