Birthday & garden

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been around, I will try to visit asap. Anyway, I had my son's 48th birthday card to make. Being under the weather and lacking mojo, I used a freebie digital card, which was made smaller for a 6x6inch card, and cut each layer image with Silhouette. Although I did change one of the sentiments to Dear Son. It was his interests and I thought it appropriate for him. Thankfully, he thought it was good. I added another layer of the front to the left of the insert, and added a verse I found online.

Tech Lover card - CraftUPrint, Crafty Bob

Here are some garden photos unedited, so sorry for the quality of the photos. It's been a wonderful year for our flowers, the rain has certainly helped, with the lawn too. The first 4 are at the top of the garden, taken last week, the last two were taken today, with rain expected, again!

That card looks perfect for your son. I am glad your found a straightforward solution for is card. Your garden looks wonderful. So lush, green and colourful. Mine looks a mess now as we have been very dry for the whole of August. Until last Saturday that is. We had a whole days worth of rain and the garden is much happier now, but too lat for many of the flowers. All the rain does have some benefit xx

Very clever use of the digi image Faith - I have been known to revert to those on occasion, especially when inspiration has been lacking.
Loving your gardens - they are so lush! I do miss my flower gardens...

Fabulous card for your son, who happens to be the same age as my eldest son, he was 48 on the 25th of this month.
Your garden is amazing, what I would give for that space, mine is small and I am grateful for it, but yours is beautiful. xx

That's a great techy card for your son but your garden is a little slice of heaven in your own back yard. It's worth all the hard work you've put into it. Gorgeous flowers!!

What a fantastic card looks so realistic but I have to say I was blown away by your beautiful garden. It's so lush and looks like it must take up alot of time and energy to maintain it it's a wonder you have time to create anything crafty. How I miss my garden in London.
