Hi Everyone, I hope you're all well and things are good with you. Today I have something I never thought I would be able to do. Stamping and cutting out with the digital die cutting machine !
I saw a YouTube video that showed how to do it, (I've lost the link sorry) so I tried and although it's a little time consuming for layering, I think it may be OK occasionally, if wanted for a special card? I'm glad I tried it though.
Anyhow, this is the card I did. I printed cutting registration marks out, then stamped onto the marked printed paper, I scanned them into my PC. I merged them to my machine program, traced them and added an outline, as if they were die cut. I then put the registration marked and stamped paper into my machine and cut them.
When they had been cut, I coloured the cut stamps with DI's.
I have this lovely blue pearlised paper in my stash, I wanted to emboss it, but was interrupted by a telephone call, I came back to my desk and carried on attaching the stamps with dimensionals to the paper, when I had added it all to the card, I realised I hadn't embossed. Must be an old age thing or too many things in my old mind hahaha.
I've added the images of the procedure, although, I guess, not many of you have a digital cutting machine. However it just shows what can be done.
