Craft fair make and to make
Hi Everyone, just thought I'd come and show you what a hive of activity (mess) I have in my spare bedroom craft room, there are things made and to be made, as for the wine glasses, no they are not for a party, but to sell with shades I am making. When I have made a few I'll show you, but at the moment, I have to get on!
Have a happy Halloween :)

Halloween birthday card
Hi Everyone, sorry for my absence, hope you missed me!
I have made a mass of items for my craft fair for the church, whew! one of the girls in work asked me to bring in some of what I had made, I took a few samples and then had orders given to the girl I had taken them in to see, which now means MORE work, not that I'm sorry more the merrier for funds :)
Anyhow, I am posting a card today I made for yet another niece, her birthday is on the 30th and this year thought I would take the Halloween route for a change. She is over 40 so the poem is one I know she will enjoy. The image is from Elizabeth Dulemba, you know I LOVE using her images. I didn't want to just write Happy Birthday on the front, so went in search of a poem I could use and found this one by Joe Donnelly on Family Friend Poems HERE I think it suits the little witch perfectly, the one on the card that is LOL. ( I contacted Joe Donnelly for permission to use his poem, you should visit the site just to read the remainder of the poem, it is so funny.) Sorry wrong link, but I have updated the link to the poem
I added a circle to represent the moon, (or the sun for the poem) then used a gradient to do the background, I used a paper that I had designed, with an overlay I have had for yonks and yonks for her coat, then 3D'd the image and added sparkle. I think it is generally known as "fussy cutting" now. Quite simple really.
I will enter the following challenge
http://tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/tuesday-throwdown-challenge-171.html Use Witches or candy.

HELP template wanted
HI everyone, sorry I've been so busy preparing craft fair stuff I haven't been able to comment or blog, even though I have a few cards to show.
I need an svg file for a box to hold 4 tealights in a long box . Yes I know there a few drawn templates out there, and I have spent quite a bit of time trying to make one into an svg. I have made one, but it is quite time consuming even though it is cut on my machine however I would like simple!!!!! so that I can make more than the six I made yesterday, if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very thankful. I have made a box for 4 by just using a 111mm square box and adding a shaped cut out for the top, then scoring with the Crafters Companion box maker, it has worked well, but for some reason I can't get the long box to work the same, any ideas or templates I could use.
Thanks for your time.
EDITED 18th October - Well what a plonker, I have told you I made a square box with Crafters Companion box maker, and then ask for help for the other box, I went to bed and had a Eureka moment, and made a box to size in the same style as the square one, can't believe I panicked about it. I will transfer the size into my program and make a cut out to fit the top. Sorry folks.
This post is a cry for help.

Birds Scrapbook page
Hi Everyone, we have had the most beautiful day, a cold wind but oh! the sun just wonderful!
Anyhow a quick post tonight. I have been trying all week to do something for the challenge and finally with hours to spare I have done something. It's a digi scrapbook page, I'm not too good at scrapbooking, so I have used a template and as I have a short time to enter the challenge it is a literal template page. The template is by The Shabby Shoppe. The photos are the birds in my garden and the papers are from Summertime Designs.
I am entering the Digitally Sweet Challenge Anything with Wings.

Computer birthday card
Hiya Everyone. Another beautiful day, I just love days like this, I've been out this morning collecting acorns! why you ask, well they are for my church craft fair and hopefully I will be able to show you what I did, nothing brilliant I may add, just a little fun so that a 50pence can add up to a few pounds for the church - hopefully.
The card today is one I made for my son, he was in the computer workplace doing different types of things, before his illness, so thought this would be a fun card for him. (He did like it)
I used Dr Digi's IT Ian, the quote is from Quotes-Lover on which I used a gradient in PS, to match the paper from Booland Designs Happy Birthday digi kit. I coloured IT Ian in PS. and paper pieced him to match the paper background, (but I can't now find the papers I used - sorry) and decoupaged him. I did laugh to myself after making this, because I added digi tape and thought why couldn't I have just added sellotape LOL. Nah! looks better I think. It's from Gina Cabrera
Have a good Sunday

Circus clown
Hiya Everyone, I'm sorry I have been a really bad blogger, but time is whizzing by and before I know it another day is over, so my apologies, will try and do better, (always on my term result comments from each teacher - Faith can do better) it's been the bane of my life. Never mind, I have been doing some commenting on great cards and projects :)
Ok now on to today, I didn't know which card to show you as I haven't posted many of what I have done recently, then decided on this.
I was asked to make a 40th birthday card for a girl who loves clowns! she collects all sorts of clowns. The image is one from imaginemakeshare.blogspot.co.uk a free digi. quite a fun image I thought. I coloured it all in PS, made a tent also in PS. I liked the idea of black and white to really lift the colours and chose Pink Petticoat Black Dots. I 3D'd the image and added a nice bit of glitter
I suggested maybe as she was such a fanatic she would like a bag, so did that as well, I am glad to say she was thrilled with it all. Hope you like it.
Have a great weekend.
