What a wide subject ay? My card is for running. So many of the family love running for miles and hubby's great nephew is a marathon runner, definitely a huge hobby for him, after his teacher work. So I brought an image out of the dark and made this for him.
My mind is certainly in slow motion, so I decided to use a sketch for help, but turned it upside down. I chose this one from the Outlawz, from June 2022, but the file name is Nov.27?
I went looking for digi papers, and found these, I picked them to make the sketch and colours, no Idea why I chose these colours?
Anyhow, I print and cut them out, and inked around the edge of each with black ink. They were then attached to the base paper, as per the sketch and placed onto the base card. The runner was printed out and was die cut, then coloured with DI's to match the papers, I decided to colour just him and leave the background as is.
He was placed onto the layered papers with 3D pads and so was the button. I stamped the sneakers and coloured them with the same colours as the runner. It all sounds so simple, but I spent an absolute age on this card. I hope the nephew likes it.

Great card Faith, a perfect design for your hubby’s great nephew. My hubby is a runner too, having completed the London Marathon nine times. These days it’s much shorter runs. I’m more of a spectator. 🤣

This is a wonderful card for purpose Faith.
My family are into running and being in the gym or even swimming. Infact my SIL and one of my grandsons are going to join a run to help get funds for the cancer centre I was recently treated at, they were so wonderful and need all the help they can get. xx
A perfect card for a runner, sure the nephew really appreciated his personalised card.
An image I just might have to track down for our youngest, not in team GB since Diabetes kicked in but still runs marathons around the world.

This is a great card for the runners in your family. I like your use of colours. They work well with the image. I have to make a lot of male cards but my lads are not so energetic, and their hobbies revolve around the sea and (watching) football, but that at least gives me some scope for their cards. Most of my cards are made with someone in mind, so I don't put them onmy blog until after their birthdays and then I forget as I am on to making the next one, but I will try to get back to card posts agin now. What a fab card for a runner! Wonderful image, color, and running shoes! Well done, Faith!! My hubby used to be a runner, but now he just does walking due to a bad knee. He would definitely love a card like this one!
