Hi Everyone, this is the card I made for my eldest brother who was 90 on the 3rd of this month. I got together some photos on my computer, and some I found going through lots in January. I added a background paper to give it a little colour and interest, then added frames and paperclips, some quotes, even a couple of red arrows to identify him in a group. Not only that, but I managed to find photos through his life from the age of three. After it was completed in Photoshop, I printed it out and layered it onto an 8 x16 inch base card, then for more interest a ribbon. I'm glad to say he was very pleased and had forgotten some photos.
His daughter and myself and our younger brother and his wife took him out for a meal. Our other brother was too unwell to come from Lincolnshire. Big brother had had a big party with the local Railway Club, (he was a fireman on the Steam Engines) who had also, with the Mayor, presented him with a fob watch engraved with his name and age, and a Great Western Railway train on the front. A beautiful gift with the memory of a big gathering especially for him.

Wow, 90! What a blessing. Happy birthday to your brother. Your flowers are gorgeous, btw.
What an amazing card, so thoughtful. Bet he loved it. I do love the daffs and they are popping up everywhere at the moment, but the ones in my garden aren't quite there yet. I expect the milder weather this week is going to help them along. Spring is nearly here hooray! xx
Happy 90th Birthday to your brother! How awesome to make him a wonderful card full of memories, so special! Your flowers are so pretty! I can hardly wait until my daffodils bloom, but that won't be until another month.
A fabulous memento for your Brother reaching 90. Beautiful garden photo too.
Well, you've outdone yourself, Faithie. That's a card and a scrapbook layout combined and what an awesome 90th birthday present. God Bless Him. Well done, both of you! And your daffs are magnificent. They look so strong, like they've been there for years and nothing else is taking their place. Is that a holly berry tree? We have one in the back yard of our new house and the berries are on now. My first experience with one. Hope you are doing well. Hugs! xoxo
A wonderful keepsake Faith, I’m sure he will treasure it. Still away on holiday, will catch up with you next week xx
What a momentous occasion for your brother, Faith and you created an amazing card for that monentous occasion! How fun it must have been for him to recall all those wonderful memories. The daffodils are beautiful. Ours are just starting to bloom here in the Pacific Northwest. I love seeing the photo of your wonderful hubby!
Brilliant masculine card full of memories for your brother. What a wonderful idea.
My daffs are nowhere near poking their yellow heads out! Lovely to see yours being all cheerful! xxx
What a wonderful keepsake memento, really special, I’m sure your brother must have been thrilled. Fab daffodil photos too - we have a few already but hopefully more to come xx
Such a lovely tribute to your brother on his 90th birthday, Faith. Love the mix of photos throughout his life. This is a wonderful keepsake. Your daffodils looks so happy. They seem to be enjoying the cold. I don't blame you for taking the photo from inside where it's warm and toasty. :) xx
A beautiful, thoughtful card for your brother, Faith. I’m sure it brought back lots of memories and will be a lovely keepsake.
