Hi Everyone here I am with my DT card for today, it's for the challenge at QKR. Our challenge is on the 1st and 15th of every month, so you have 2 chances every month to enter the challenge.
We will select two winners each of the weeks
1 using QKR Stampede or Eureka Stamps image
and 1 using any image!
Anything Goes every 1st & 15th of the month
I'm in the doldrums with mojo, I really don't know where it's gone, but it was made easier with a wonderful image from QKR that I chose to play with, then a visit to Pinterest, I found a die cut corner, simple card and decided to case it.
The image was coloured with DI's, I added clear sparkle pen. I cut out the card with a pin dot die, the overlay patterned card was also cut with a pin dot die and the corner cut with a circle die. This was 3D'd.
I added a chiffon ribbon and a bow tied with red glitter thread, added some tiny die cut butterflies from the patterned card and added a gem to each. I then stamped the sentiment and cut out with a sentiment die.
image - QKR Stampede Mushroom
patterned card - Hunkydory
inks - Distress Inks
sentiment - magazine freebie
ribbon - stash
dies -
square - Sue Wilson Noble,
circle and butterflies -Tattered Lace
sentiment die - Julie Hickey,
gems - stash
It is darling my friend. Have a blessed day.

I don't know why Mr. Mojo messes with us, but I know he does! He loves to cause havoc and takes all the fun away. Or at least he does for me. lol But you showed Mr. Mojo with this fabulous card! I love how you cut a circle out the corner of your beautiful paper for your images to pop through. Your mushrooms and flowers are colored up so nicely too. Love those sweet butterflies fluttering about. The ribbon with the sentiment banner is just enough and makes this card so sweet. Love, love, love it! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteThis is cute. I love the layout and your nice coloring. [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteLove the design Faith, I think the mushrooms look like they are smiling, maybe because I’m out for lunch and having a glass of wine in the sunshine !! 😉
ReplyDeleteAdorable card, Faith! I love the die cut corner technique - that's one I haven't done. So many techniques, so little time, lol! ;) Hang in there... your mojo is just taking a short break. Happens to all of us!

ReplyDeleteI'm having a bit of trouble with Mr Mojo myself Faith and think it's because there are so many other things to do while the sun is shining. You'd never know with you though - just look at this beauty! I love those fairy tale mushrooms and flowers and the circle aperture is a brilliant way to showcase them! Vicky x
