CAS

Hi Everyone, apologies for not being around, I haven't been on the 'puter, due to something happening that put me completely out of kilter, nothing serious, but it has thrown me completely, I've got no motivation at all. I hope I'll be able to get to visit you all, sooner rather than later.

At least I am being pushed into making cards for family members, but thinking of things to do is hard. Anyhow, I have a card today for my nephew. I cased a card from Hannelie and now can't find it.  As you can see, it's very simplistic. I kept off the layers, as he and my niece live in Belgium, and thought of postage costs, being the meany I am!

I bought some stencils, a pack of 30, and they are really great, only 125mm in size, but for patches of stencilling just perfect.  I stamped the car and made a mask, then using the stencils I blended the colours, removed the mask, stamped the sentiment, and it was done, so quick and easy, to get into the post double quick.
stamps - Magazine freebies SC&P
stencils - Amazon
inks - Distress Inks, blueprint sketch, evergreen bough, twisted Citron

    - sorry to hear you have been 'off kilter', and hope you world returns to an even keel shortly.
I know what you mean about postage costs - I send bundles of cards to Australia from here - it's cheaper than sending them individually!

  19. I know exactly what you mean about things happening which send you off kilter Faith, and definitely recognise having time to craft but no motivation or mojo. But you have pulled a beauty out of the bag with this gorgeous card with that fab sports car (left uncoloured for a bit of edge!) and the soft fade-out stenciling. I take my hat off to you! Vicky x
