Guest Spot -Allsorts Challenge

I am thrilled to have been asked to do a Guest Spot for the

The theme is Hearts, I had this heart die in my subscription magazine a few months ago, I hadn't used it before, but it was the perfect occasion to use it. I cut it out of red textured card.

I had cut 3 layers of 300gsm card with hearts along while ago, cut out on my Silhouette, and had glued them together, I used it to emboss a square of white card. This is the cut-out I embossed with.

I cut a square red layer and layered the embossed hearts layer onto it. The die cut was attached to the embossed layer. Next I stamped a sentiment and layered it onto more of the red card, it was attached with 3D pads to the card. It's quite a deep emboss, but can't be seen on the main card.

heart die, magazine freebie - Tattered Lace
stencil design - Marisa Lerin DigitalScrabook.com
sentiment stamp, magazine freebie - Lou Collins
ink - Whispers, a very old ink

  9. Brilliant creation of stencil and gorgeous card. I have some 12x12 scrapbook layout backgrounds that are cut out like that, KI Memories, I think. They are sitting in a file for when I ever think up how to cut and use on a card or hey, maybe I'll circle back to 12x12 scrapping by then, hahahaha. Hope y'all are doing well, xoxo
